The game freezes up when loading my friends list or event window, and when it recovers, it then takes ages to load all of the friend profile pictures.

I have timed it just now...

A 7 second freeze when I click on the winter event...

Then another 45 seconds until it's all loaded.

I realise it's probably taking so long because of the number of people in my friend list... but this is a very social game and lots of people add friends.

It seems like it's loading the profile pictures that takes a long time, and that the profile pictures are unnecessary.

I would much rather have a friend list that that took only a few seconds to load, and didn't have any profile pictures.

I don't think many people would miss the little profile pictures if you just removed them?
