Lots of little fixes and tweaks in today's patch.



New Features
- Added new dialog that pops up when you level up and unlock a new game feature or town building.
- Added new dialog that pops up when you run out of stamina for the first time that advertises some of the non-stamina based features of the game and provides a small one-time stamina boost.
- Added a town quest to build the Hall of Trials

Balance Changes
- Nerfed heroic missions by 2 levels.
- The Hall of Trials now starts with level 6 enemies, instead of level 11. Prior enemies and bosses maintain their existing level and difficulty, but have been moved 5 floors further in. The boss chest on level 5 now awards 1 token.
- Adjusted the levels required to build certain buildings:
- Blacksmith now requires level 6 (down from level 8)
- Fishing Hole now requires level 8 (down from level 10)
- Arena now requires level 10 (down from level 12)
- Reduced Paragon tasks requirements for the Hall of Trials from levels 20-35 to 15-30.
- Arena opponents will now be picked from a wider range (15 ranks ahead of you to 5 ranks behind you, with at least one opponent always 10 ranks ahead of you; at rank 15 or better, opponents up to rank 20 may be selected; as an example if you're rank 100, you'll be offered random opponents from rank 85 to 105, with at least one always rank 85-90)

Bug Fixes/Misc
- Fixed a freezing issue that was introduced during a hotfix on Dec 2nd.
- Fixed shortcut to boss level exits not crediting Hall of Trials Paragon tasks
- Fixed an issue on the character create screen where a new character could not be created in an available slot if you had selected a locked slot at some point that session.
- Buildings now show the correct next level effects immediately after upgrade
- Random stats on store items no longer incorrectly show comparisons if the same item type had previously been viewed on the mission rewards dialog.
- Guild contribution box formats the number correctly when entered.
- Guild contribution no longer errors when inserting numbers with commas.
- Guild contribution updates on the member tab without closing and opening the dialog.
- We're not displaying "item unavailable" reasons in the store
- Tweaked the names of the Do X Heroic Missions achievements
- Fixed Heroic Travel zones enemy levels
- Fixed a few achievements

So, I think someone accidentally turned on loot drops for an event. So far people have found batteries and toy parts in drops.

Edit: Annnnnd the event area just popped up, which looks like halloween in town and is broken if you go there...

Edit 2: " 15 ranks ahead of you to 5 ranks behind you," I feel like this should be reversed, most people can't beat the people ahead of them, they need a way to drop back and get to someone they can beat.

15 ranks ahead is so players who have neglected the arena for a few levels can quickly advance up the rankings to get better arena rewards. As there are more and more players in the game, you'll start further and further down the list. For example, right now you start with a rank of around 750, and that's with only a small trickle of players joining.

What I mean, is yeah it's helpful for new players, but for us near the top of the arena where it's much harder to win it's not as useful. Trying to get 10 wins each day is pretty difficult at high ranks. The only solution at the moment is to remove all of our equipment and come back later and hope we get knocked down the ladder quite a bit. I guess this is more an objection with the daily quest then the current arena format.
