Devs: Important Note on Difficulty Changes

In the past couple of days, a few changes have been made to make things more difficult as new content rolled out, and just 10 minutes ago, Justin commented on maybe increasing the health of the Golem in desert MP.

I think it is very important the Devs remember that some of the level 30's right now are not what a level 30 would be like in the normal game with a higher max level. May of us have been at level 30 for weeks, tweaking our builds, adjusting our equipment, ranking our shards, etc. The Golem, for example, is nothing but death for level 25 and up to a certain point.

The increased speed impact on HoT has only deterred the players not in the absolute top tier. Top Tier players are still getting their tokens.

Point is this, don't develop the game based on what a few overly high powered level 30's can do, because you will never see Level 30's like that in the regular game if the max level cap is higher.

Thanks Defiar,

We are acutely aware of this. So we are making sure the leveling difficulty isn't too high for non-maxed out characters. This may be a back and forth process.

honestly it's more like a back , back and more back process. if you want to fix something fix the constant crashes , disconnecting and bugs.just because 3-5 players got so fast so high doesn't have to mean to make it impossible for the rest of us. if i want to play an rpg on insane difficulty i'll choose a not on line one. you are killing all the fun in this game for most of us

Thanks. It is understandable if difficulties maybe adjust around, especially before the official launch. It would be a heck of a thing to hit level 25 and all of a sudden not be able to go anywhere.

Adding to Defiar's post... the current arena tweaks are making it very difficult for most players to accomplish the daily devotion wins, because the speed and BR combination almost make it a "one spot for each player" situation, where you can't beat anyone in front of you, and have no one behind you to battle. Somewhere between the way the arena was and the way it is now would be a sweet spot, allowing some flexibility and churn, but not constant churn as it previously was.

The arena definitely needs some work. It would be nice to be able to get either a full or partial reset for arena where we can choose to drop down "X" number of positions. Those that want higher ranks don't have to use it, those that just want the daily can actually stand a chance at it. That, or expand the number of players we can challenge at a time.
