| fix forum post notifications

jpl77Please change your forum post notifications, my email inbox is getting inundated with notifications of people replying to one thread.
I'd like to get only one notification of a reply to a thread I'm watching and not receive another notification until I visit that thread again. |

(Though I have to say, I got sick enough of the emails that I set up a rule to send the notifications all to the trash...) |

David Whittaker (CNE Dev)Last Edited October 4th 2014 at 2:59 PM When first posting to a thread there is a little check-box under the reply box. It reads: "(Subscribe by email to future updates)" Uncheck it if you do not wish to be notified.
Once you have subscribed there is a link at the top right of the thread that you can click to unsubscribe - all be it a little hidden up there. -David |

shikitenshiyes but it would be nice if it wouldn't be automatically checked to "subscribe". if you edit a post you easily forget unsubscribing again.don't worry , we check for news without the subscribing :D

jpl77I do know how to subscribe and unsubscribe, what I want is the able to get only 1 notification about a response to a thread and no more notifications until i revisit the forums. I don't need 100 emails about every single response.
If you won't change the forums rules then I won't even participate in forum discussions as I can't deal with 200 junk emails. |
