Basic things about the game.

I know the devs won't particularly like me stating some things but I feel as if they need to be said.
In the start of the game you have to go on what you know of the job classes without a single description of what the job titles do. Then it looks like Bush Whacker 2 then Egg breaker with the stuff you can smash up. Then I noticed something kind of disturbing, its violent. Very very Violent. You behead monsters yes, and it shows the head coming off with the accent of blood.

And this is where I'm not going to be liked very much.

It reminds me instantly of the Final Fantasy series, the starting characters are either imprisoned, killed off, or sent away to a new land which happened in nearly every Final Fantasy game I have ever played. Also Lilnth is way to close to Lilith which is not only in Final Fantasy as a boss and its from Borderlands, shes a character you can play as. Then when you get to the shard gate, it reminds me of Stargate Atlantis, it looks like something from the show, the portal and all. Then it reminds me of every single facebook game I've seen, you have to build things that will sooner or later take days or money to finish in a timely manner. And it reminds me of the Sims games, you get a character to level up and change and such. And that when you get to the main part of the game when you are building stuff, theirs no way to know what to do. I'm lost of what to do as well but I'll figure it out.

Well that's all for now. its just what I notice from the game so far, I'll end up continuing this thread as I get farther into the game.

I only play the bush whackers, where they have funny reference's all through out the game, so to see it take graphics from the game and basically everything you mentioned is a reason I love the game more, even the upping of the maturity rating. I just want my thoughts to be known too. :D

Hi Masumi

As life long game players we take our inspiration from many great sources. Especially some of the great snes titles from our childhood. As well as from some great Sci-Fi shows :)

We are aiming for a more mid-core audience with this title, and it is an RPG with a combat focus, so there is some mild cartoon violence.

The main part of the game is the quests and missions, the town is just a support base.
