Kittychix (Chloe)We are working away at creating the new challenge prizes for an upcoming update to the Challenge Monkey, and we want YOUR help to choose some of the prizes that you can win/buy with Challenge Tokens!
So how can you help? Easily! Just give us an item that you would like to see represented as a prize. Keep in mind, this will have to be drawn by someone ;) Items do not necessarily have to stick with the previous themes (of game shows), but if you think we missed an obvious one previously, suggest it! Previous items have included: - Hosts of gameshows - bingo related items - wheel of fortune related items And many others! So...hit us with your best ideas! |

Rebecca FurlongSome of the letters are already available as prizes, so it would be nice if the rest of the letters of the alphabet were also made into prizes. You could also use jewelry.

Irene WintersI like the teddy bears idea, also the legendary items. You could make a monkey version of classic books. Or, how about prizes of the different types of tokens that we get in each type of monkey? I'd love some of those to display.

Marissa SmithA deck of cards would still be game show themed, easy to draw, and 52 new prizes. To keep people busy for longer they could cost different numbers of challenge tokens like 2-10, 12 for face cards, and 15 for aces. Could also do common hands like flushes, full house, pairs, blackjack, etc for higher token amounts.

Rima Ramai really like what suzanne choy suggested. you could do stuff like stonehenge, the coliseum, eiffel tower, pyramids of giza, leaning tower of pisa, great wall of china, statue of liberty, the sphinx, the taj mahal, machu pichu, big ben, those easter island stone heads, mt rushmore, sydney opera house, oh! oh! and the rock of gibraltar! which is my favorite place in the world! anyway, i don't know, there's gotta be almost countless things to work with in that category. thumbs up, suzanne!
i also really like the different monkeys idea. you could even use prosimians and stuff. i don't think anyone would get upset. but there's such a huge variety in how monkeys and apes and other related animals look. there's even a huge difference in appearance between different baboon species! like the hamadryas baboons and the mandrills (though-- i have to say this just because it'll drive me crazy if i don't-- mandrills are technically not considered baboons anymore as they are no longer classified in the papio genus and are now in their own genus, mandrillus). but even in baboon species who look very similar in their youth, like the hamadryas and olive baboon, look very different as adults. the appearance of adult male olive baboons isn't much different from that of them as juveniles- except for size of course- but with male hamadryas baboons, they change quite a bit. as an a male hamadryas gets older, he grows something of a mane around his chest, shoulders, and upper back. the hair becomes very thick and much longer than on other parts of his body. the hair on their heads also grows thick and long but most males do go bald on the top of their head. this actually probably looks a bit silly at first glance.. until they open their mouth at least! sorry, anyway! there are gibbons- both white and blackhanded- and primates like loris', bushbabies, and aye-aye's have quite distinctive looks with those huge eyes. lemurs fall into the prosimian category too, and the ring-tailed lemur is very recognizable. i think most kinds of capuchins are familiar to everyone as well. and howler monkeys are pretty recognizable when they're howling- and not just because of the obvious!- but also, you know, that large pouch on their neck that inflates while they're doing it. golden monkeys are beautiful, as are golden lion tamarins. and of course everyone loves spider monkeys! ok i'm so sorry.. i always tend to get carried away when primates are involved. yeah so... food for thought! |

Rima Ramashorter suggestion (i promise!)- people (their style of dress or maybe a particularly famous icon) or symbols associated with different music genres.
for example, for people there could be a silhouette of michael jackson with one hand on his hat while he's facing down, doing the moonwalk, you know? and maybe a silhouette of elvis wearing his trademark jumpsuit holding a mic and doing that move he has, with the one leg in? you know what i mean? there could be a saxaphone for jazz. different styles of guitars.. like one that's, like, from the 80's.. with the.. i can't explain this! something like this: http://www.jukeb0x.com/musical-instrument/musical-instrument-d_15254.jpg and of course i have to make a britney suggestion... i mean, she IS an icon! i think her most famous look (not counting the school girl thing..) would be her costume she wore when she performed 'slave 4 u' at some awards show and she had that huge albino constrictor around her neck? yeah, that would definitely be a MUST in this category :P |
