Completing the Christmas Scene?

Hello!

I've been playing EB for a couple of years and my Christmas Scene has been stuck at 87% ever since then. I keep getting the same old things in the boxes I open. Am I missing something?

Thanks for your time and attention!

Send the question to a developer. If you need to have gifts sent then message me for a FR during the holidays. I can send some gifts to you.

It's my first year doing this event, and I'm very disappointed with all the multiple scene elements they're putting in our friends' gifts. :( Today I got 7 gifts, including one from the developers: 3 Wreaths, 3 Lit Wreaths, and 1 Lamp Post. Yesterday, I got 6 Tinsels! What is the point of sending MORE gifts, when they're going to be useless copies? At least in EB 2 you get some credit toward completion, no matter what the gift is.

Also, WHEN exactly is this event ending? The start page has a completely wrong date (as it always seems to have in events)... and the only reference I can find in the game regarding the deadline is that all trophies, etc. will be awarded "On Jan. 2nd when the event ends." So.. is that at reset time on Jan. 2nd, or is at reset time on Jan. 1st... or some other time? Seriously, how much time would it take to give us the right date and time for it to end? In EB 2, there is a clock running on the event. Why not in EB 1?

I'm getting the uncomfortable feeling, as I do the math, that whenever the event ends, I will be short ONE scene element. I hope I'm wrong.

Okay, I am furious with you, DJ Arts! I just opened the game after reset, and sure enough, you took away the Christmas Event with NO warning... and I was ONE scene element away from completing it! I would have completed it today, if I'd had one more day... OR perhaps I would have purchased EB credits to get that last scene element, but you never gave me a chance. I'm so angry, I'm thinking about quitting this game!

You had a serious typo in the text we saw, as we opened the game. It said the event would be over on NOVEMBER 29th (which was earlier than it started). Instead, it was over on December 30th, at reset time. How can you treat players this way? That is just plain WRONG, DJ Arts. I spent a few dollars on that event, but I promise you, I will never spend a dime again.

You don't even read your own forums, so I'm probably venting to other players instead of to you. So... to other players... did YOU know when this event was going to end? Am I the only one who was taken by surprise?

that is because it is a dead game they not pay any attention to anymore. I agree with you that this stinks big time. I forgot where but there stands ribbons will be given on jan 2 after the event was finished . I guess also something from years before.
I completed everything on this game years ago so it not affect me but i know enough people still play this game active.

No one from DJ Arts has responded to me here, and my Support ticket about this issue has been unanswered since December 30th. I don't know if EB 1 is a dead game, but DJ Arts is going to be a dying game company if they continue to treat customers this way. I spend money on Facebook games, but not on the ones that lack customer support.

Well, because of their lack of support in EB 1 and 2, I have no interest in trying their newer games that they supposedly "support" -- because I'm done with DJ Arts games. I've played and quit lots of games since 2009, often for the same lousy customer service I'm experiencing here.

So, because the staff are putting their full effort into the newer games... you aren't willing to try the newer games.
I can understand your frustration at the lack of response, though. I've given up on games for the same reason, for sure. Before you give up entirely, if you haven't already, I would suggest you try reaching out through the forums or chat features of the games they are still supporting. Since they actively support EBA and BW2, they are more likely to notice you and respond to you there. There is often a staff person active in chat during standard business hours PST.

I've been waiting since Dec. 30th to hear from Support about the Christmas event. Tonight I decided to open a new support ticket, to try to get them to read my 1st support ticket. This is what I saw:

"Sorry, technical/customer support is no longer offered for this game. If there is an issue causing the game to be inaccessible, we will still receive automatic notifications and should get it fixed shortly, so try back in a couple of hours. If the game is not loading for you specifically, try clearing your Browser Cache, restarting your browser, or refreshing."

Well, NOW you tell me there is no support for EB 1??? After I spent MONEY on your "unsupported" Christmas event? Shame on you, DJ Arts!

Caren, you'll be able to get your last prize next year when you can keep on going with the Christmas event. Your progress doesn't get wiped every year.

As for the wrong date displayed, why are you surprised after your queries regarding the same issue for the last two events?

Hi Caren,

I'm sorry for the confusion regarding the end of the Christmas Event. I have now responded to your ticket and explained our situation regarding EB1.

Cheers,
- Justin
