I noticed in this latest update, that I didn't get ONE tier goal completed before completing everything else in the tier. I'm now going back to get the last banana from each level and it's taking me 10s of thousands of hammers and thousands of stars to complete this on each level. It's super frustrating to play several hundred stars and to maybe get one tier prize. This is the first time this has happened, maybe this needs to be adjusted a little in the next update? I feel like I have to "waste" hundreds of thousands of hammers and thousands of stars just to complete a level that is otherwise completed.

Anyone else have this issue with the volcano?

I have 37 left on my last tier. 37!!! That seems ridiculous to me. Maybe I'll finish that by sometime next week :(

Elise I have had similar problems. I find the tier items are usually won with large multipliers. So give that a try.

Elise, the tier goals are the one that are copper, bronze, silver, etc. The items that you collect for the little guy are the quests.

Try using stars. (I buy them with my tokens.)

Elise, I also have the same problem. It is very frustrating to say the least. I gave up trying to get that one completed until I get to the end. I had to do it on the last one as well. I can go through one stage and still have almost 3/4 of the quests left to do. I will go back when I have all the rest finished. Stage 1 completed but only have 53/85. Stage 2 completed but only have 28/91.

I tried something different this time. I was on the 5th level in volcano, so I took the number of quest items needed and divided it by the 7 stages and came up with 19. I kept track of how many quest items I got on each level, and usually it was right around that number. When I got to the level where we can multiply the tier items, I didn't do it. I played without using my multiplier until I had collected 19 quest items. I finished the tiers last night and only had 2 quest items left to collect.

I don't have a large stash of stars, so I mostly use hammers. It was far less frustrating to play the stage without using a multiplier than it has been to keep playing the level just looking for quest items.

I got 3 quest items today, Appx 4000 hammers and 1000 stars to get them. Meanwhile I am halfway through the tier items. Last level I had over 30 quest items to finish up by the time I was done and that was without using multipliers when I could. If it was happening on one level I could see it but it has been every level in the volcano area.

I have that issue on the first stage of the volcano, I finished all tiers, copper etc but still need 28 spiked boots. Yesterday I went through 15k hammers and only got 3-4 footwears, that is insane.
