Cost of Monkey Bucks in EBA vs cost of Hammers in EB2 is not comparable. Explanation: EB2 = $4.80 for 20,100 Hammers. EBA = $45.00 for 500 Monkey Bucks, translated Monkey Bucks into Hammers = 500 MB divide by 50 = 10, then 10 x 500 Hammers = 5,000 Hammers. Why such a high cost on Monkey Bucks? Why is EBA cost not comparable to EB2 cost?

Hi Susan,

You are quite right, the pricing is not comparable! as in it is very difficult to compare!

The games use a very different setup for buying hammers, you can't use the 20,100 number for comparison because your not buying 20,100 hammers, you are buying 400% your daily hammers. When you start EB2 you only get 400 hammers for $4.80 which is less than you get in EBA.

How far your hammers go depend on the stage you are playing, how many hammers it costs to open an egg, and how much progress you get when you open an egg. In EBA the highest it costs is 3 per normal egg in gold stages, in EB2 it gets to 8. In EBA you need to break a lot fewer eggs to complete an area than you need in EB2. We specifically designed it this way because we felt it got out of hand in EB2... way too many eggs needed to complete an area and way too many hammers.

That said, I will personally keep an eye on this and make sure players feel they are getting enough play time for their money!

can't seem to get the any of the 16 ordnmnets to complete the Christmas Event. On limited income so buying monkey bucks to by ordnments is out of question. Is there any other way to get them? No one sends pressies either...

PS> Thanks for the reduction in buying the 16 regular items. IT helped.
