I'm pretty sure this question/gripe was discussed before but I can't find it. It seems like the Volcano Quest bananas are nearly impossible to get. I've collected all of the Tier bananas from all stages of Volcano but was left with extra quest items to collect. That never happened before. I spent 6000 hammers over the last few days and only got 2 quest items for one of the sets. Any strategies for boosting the odds? Or are the odds off because of the holiday events?

I love the game but going for quest items only is kind of getting on my nerves.

I just move on when I reach that point. When I don't have much time, or I am out of area tokens, I'll go back to an earlier stage and monkey break those levels. I actually have all the quests complete for all the areas that I have all other bananas. This game play works very well with my normal strategy.

For a while I had 4-5 quest areas to finish. And I'll admit it was very depressing looking at them. I'm glad that they are done now.

Everyone I know has the same problem you have. I don't know why the devs programmed it this way, probably to make the levels last longer.

The thing is.... every time the devs release a new level, it is a little different from previous levels. So, I always adjust my game play to match. I hope you can find a way to incorporate this into your game play so that it is a little bit easier to handle.

Best of luck to you.

I had the same problem and it took about 10 days to get the last banana to complete volcano stage. I contacted devs about this and they told me that the odds have never changed since the beginning og the game.
So my brother who is playing eb2 figured out that, Completing the tiers fast where you can use multipliers (eg. 2200 items to collect) it helps you to complete and reach the end of the stage faster, but since the odds for the last banana never change you end up with this last one.
So my suggestion is to use small amounts of multipliers, or none, while on the "high-quantity item" tiers.

Of course this will not effect the completion time of a stage. The only advantage is you will complete all tiersof the stage almost at the same time you get the last banana.

3700+ hammers and 450+ stars today and I only won 2 of the collectible quest items for Volcano level 3.

I have never NOT finished collecting these items before finishing the last tier/getting the last banana of a level. However, for level 1 I only had 49/87 items collected, and
55/87 items level 2.

If the odds of winning these items haven't changed....I don't know what's up.

Have finished the Volcano level. I have all the quest items. The only things I do not have are two tresure map items.....I found that it is better to use small multi's instead of letting them build up too high...

Thanks for the tips. I agree that it seems to be the large multiplier that sped things along too much for me. I've gone through most of the quests now but I still have almost 40 items left to collect in Level 3 (my last one). I think I've spent over 400 stars today as well and only won 2 or 3 of them.

And after my last post....I got a big surge of luck and finally finished all the volcano quests. Now to sit patiently while I await Deep Blue and (hopefully) another trophy room expansion.
