Here is the trick i'm using

First Max up your X2s and Stars.
You may also max up your collection (if it stars or hammers, i don't recommand it as collection will be one of the only way to get stars.

Note 1: Do not use the slot machine. It may gives you stars, hammers or tokens but it can also gives you gold or nothing

Note 2: Use the multiplier only if it's on quests where items stack and only on a golden egg. If the world you are in give multiplier as collection redeem, you may redeem enough to try to one-egg quest complete on a golden egg
Once the quest over maximise multiplier again. But doing so can make you complete all the quests on an area without getting all the items the area NPC wants.

Note 3: The only ways to get stars are with area tokens and event tokens and friends gifts. Only use the number of stars over your max stars
Do not buy any stars until you reach your max (unless you almost reached the maximum area tokens you can hold). That will give you a few more stars to use

Let say your stars max is 200. So you break eggs until you have 200 stars then you buy
more stars Let say you are in the undersea world, it cost 140 tokens for 35 stars
so you are now at 235 stars, you can use them until you are down at 200, try not to go under your max.


So far I noticed I completed quest much faster as the only things I get are gold, quest items and nothings.


I still have to use my trick during an events



Talking events, Once you complete the tasks but still get lots of special tokens, remember that those are the other way to get stars ;)
