My opinion is that a player is good enough when she/he has a specific high score. In conclusion I think that Bananas should be replaced by High Score or Zoo Tokens, whichever. My point is that there ought to be Banana Tokens. These Tokens can unlock stages like in the present, but also have special values: Buy stars, hammers etc and last but not least buy Monkey Break Tokens and/or Super Monkey Break Tokens, as follows:
100 Banana Tokens=4 Monkey Break Tokens(MBT) and/or 2 Super Monkey(Thunder Monkey)(SMT or TMT) Tokens. You could also buy Monkey Break Tokens with area Tokens starting from Deep Blue area.
I thought of a new area named Space Station area which can be unlocked with 500+ Banana Tokens. Space Station, I think, should be after Deep Blue area.
Super Monekey( or Thunder Monkey) Tokens are special tokens which can be bought with Banana Tokens like mentioned above OR can be unlocked after unlocking the Future City area which is after the Space Station area. The Future City can be unlocked only if you are in the top 10 from players all over the world.
Also an idea would be a rotating world map OR area maps which are sectioned within the world map in a 2d space. Also considering that there will be more updates I suggest an Egg Breaker 2 equivalent of Uber Mode (from Egg Breaker 1). This mode should be unlocked when finishing you unlock the next area AFTER The Future City which could be called let's say Moon area. It's just an idea. But I hope it will help with the idea of an update of this game.
NOTE: These are ONLY a few ideas of how the game can look in 2012 or in the late future.

It's been said before that they will never implement areas or features that will only be available to top players as they like content to be available to everyone. Sure, sometimes you have to have a prerequisite to get something, but that's different than making something only for the elite.
