Tier 3 of Final Battle is one of the objectives that has a fail state.

Most players fail on area 1 by not having enough Crusaders to protect the Horcrux from the death curses.

So you need to keep replacing Crusaders as they die in the first few areas to protect the object.


If you've ever let the Horcrux die, there will be a red X symbol next to the objective icon at the top of the screen.

Otherwise you should see nothing next to the objective icon until you get the green check mark for reaching the required area.
