TillinaI'm playing on Armor games, on Opera, on a Mac, running 10.14.6 Mojave. I've restarted my computer, my browser, and soft restarted my game- this problem persists. Every time I reach the boss on level 1585, I can kill the underlings easily, but the boss takes no damage from me. A health bar does not appear, and I can not progress past this level because I can not kill this boss. Even when I play with firestorm, which is supposed to do percentage damage of the enemy's total health, I still can't do damage. This is getting incredibly frustrating and I don't know what to do.

AnimenutIt isn't a glitch. That's an intended feature of the game. What happened is that you hit the "Number cap" where your damage cannot go any higher. When that happens, any enemy with equal or greater than your current number cap becomes invincible. To "fix" this, look at the last objective of each act. There are objectives that increase your DPS cap, usually by factors of e100. Basically, you hit the first major milestone in the game and have to unlock the ability to continue further. There are also talents that increase your DPS cap that you can work on later, but for now, look into completing any 11th objectives in each act that you haven't done yet.

TillinaAnimenut, I'm afraid I'm confused by your answer. I think I meet all those requirements.
I've reached the 11th objective in all the acts except Mm Finklebottom's, and on the events I've completed all the objectives in all of the levels. I've unlocked up to tier 5 idol bonuses, and am maxed out at most of those tier 4 and below. I used to be able to go past level 1585, to easily go up to 1800s, but I can not anymore. Is this a comparably-recent update? Does it work differently in events? What else should I try? Thank you so much for your help! |

AnimenutFirst, let me ask a few things that will help clarify some much-needed information.
When you say "tier-5 idol bonuses", do you mean talents? Which acts have you gone beyond area 1585 in, and which act was the one you found the invincible boss in? When you hit that invincible boss, do you remember what your DPS was? And now for my own thoughts... I mentioned "11th objectives", but I apologize for not mentioning the different tiers in each act. I've been playing this game for so long, there are just some basic things I forget about lol The "11th objectives" also have tiers. Doing their tier-1 versions will allow you to access the tier-2 versions, then tier 3, etc. If you did the 11th objectives ONCE, you'll need to do all the other tier-2 objectives to be able to access the tier-2 11th objectives. I might be wrong about this, but I think the first objective that gives a DPS cap boost is the tier-3 11th objective in Ghostbeard's Greed, named "To Infinity and Beyond!" Have you completed that one yet? To answer your other questions, no update I know of should have caused this. To the contrary, a while ago the acts were all re-balanced to be roughly the same difficulty, and events are no exception. If you can get past area 1585 in one act with your DPS, you should be able to do the same in any other act/event. |

TillinaOoh, thank you!
When I said "tier-5 idol bonuses" I did mean talents. I wasn't sure if there was a talent I needed to unlock. I don't remember what act I went beyond area 1585, or the first place I found the invincible boss. The place that ticked me off enough to ask about it was each level of the Easter event. I do not remember what my DPS was, but give me a day and I'll hit that boss again - I can tell you then what my dps is. -- Ooh, ok. I thought you literally meant "the eleventh objective" on each act. No, I have not completed "To Infinity and Beyond!" You think that completing that one should let me progress? I'll give that a go after my current quest finishes. Huh. That's good to know, but a little confusing, since the first time I noticed this problem was immediately after an update and redistributing my talents. |

AnimenutThere IS a talent that increases the DPS cap, but it's tier-6, so you haven't unlocked it, yet.
Not to ignore everything else you said, but I honestly think completing "To Infinity and Beyond!" might solve your issue. I'm not entirely sure why the talent-redistribution would have had any effect on your progression. If you were able to progress beyond 1585 before and not after the update, that's odd. Complete that objective and if you STILL can't get past that area, submit a bug report and maybe the devs can figure something out. |
