What I learned during the event is that all my valentines would not show at once. So, it would say I had 89 valentines. I would accept them all and refresh the page. Then I would have 57 valentines. I would accept all those and then refresh the page. Then I might have 62 valentines. Basically, if the game said I had 50 or more valentines, then I always refreshed after accepting them and always had more.

Once it showed less than 50, I knew that was the last of them. So, if I saw 32 or 45 then I knew that was the last of the valentines.

I discovered this partway through the event and had hundreds of valentines to "return" once I figured it out. I literally refreshed and accepted a full screen of valentines more than a half dozen times... probably closer to 10 refreshes. It was almost overwhelming.

Anyway, you keep seeing gifts because you had more than 50 and the system is only set up to show so many at once. If you keep refreshing until they are all gone, and then you won't see them anymore.

Perhaps my discovery will help you and others in the next event, if it is programmed the same way.
