As a rule, I don't generally post in forums, but after reading all of the negative comments, thought I would share my thanks to the Devs because I am truly enjoying this event. I admit that I am a hard core addict and I play this game hard, but this event has allowed me to show my appreciation to the buddies I have who also play this game a lot. Receiving all of the hammers, stars, etc. has allowed some people to play this game much longer than they otherwise would have been able to. So, for those of us who enjoy being able to spend MORE time here because of this event, I say thank you!!!

Just wanted to add that this is the most generous event so far. I'm not sure how receiving all of those wonderful free hammers, stars and multipliers can be seen as a hardship? If I have any buddies who are having a hard time receiving them, please let me know because I know I have others who really appreciate them and see them as the gift that they're meant to be. I smile and say thank you with each one that I send. Thank you again to the Devs!!

I think both the Dev and you have missed the root of the "negative" comments. People are upset by the amount of time and the spammy style of sending [these valentines]. if you have 30 players on your list, great for you... I have 3 active players and having to send them invites OVER and OVER and OVER day after day is annoying to them, and myself.

It takes way too long to send that many invites especially if you are not privy to a high speed connection. I am not ungrateful for the extra stars and hammers, but I am ungrateful for the amount of time it will take to finish this event over and above the amount of time it takes to play the regular portion of the game.

Tace, we didn't miss the root of the negative comments. We both play the game so we have experienced the sending (and receiving) of valentines; but seriously, thanks for adding your negative comment to a "thank you" thread for the devs. Afterall, it's not like there are a whole bunch of negative comments already.

Someone asked to be able to buy stars, hammers, etc. with the extra tokens. With every valentine you receive (and send) there are hammers, stars and multipliers. These add up very quickly and you get more than you would generally get from purchasing them. You can send and receive unlimited amounts. It doesn't get any more generous than that and yet everyone is complaining? Seriously? I truly appreciate my buddies and I love being able to send them free hammers, stars and multipliers!!

BTW: I have 4 active buddies and I'm currently at 160% completion. Why would I stop sending them free stuff? It allows them to keep playing longer.

Not that I don't have negative things to say... but you are right, the Devs don't need to do events and this one has many good sides!

I have HUNDREDS of stars now, and as a star lover, I'm thrilled. I also like holidays and I really like that my games get a holiday make-over and I like the art, the pink, the hearts and everything else they put into it. And now that I've gotten so many valentines I feel SUPER popular when I look at my valentine board/shelf. True, they're mostly all from one person, but it makes me laugh a little.

Thanks Devs, I'm sure you can address the negative comments in the future, but please don't stop doing holiday events because of them.

Tace - if you don't want to send the valentines, then don't. No one is forcing you to. I also wish we could send more than one at a time, but if it is seriously that much of a burden to you - then don't do it. It won't matter in a year whether you sent them or not. So, don't feel like you have to now.

I seriously hope the devs don't get discouraged and stop the events because of the complaining.

I'm enjoying the event, and progressing quickly with all the stars/hammers/multipliers. It does take more time, but I just walk away if I don't have time to play all my hammers.

Enjoy!
