Fast learners % miscalculated
3 Posts	Link to post - Posted August 7th 2017 at 10:20 PM Leitha I recently acquired 5 levels of the Fast Learners talent over several resets, which should supposedly decrease the time required to gain XP by 25%, or a full hour. Instead, all of my crusaders are gaining XP every 3 hours and 45 minutes, and all user interface features (including the minute counter) agree on this number (some labeling it as 3.75 hours). The bug persists through soft resets and restarting the game as well. It may be connected to the Burnt Out objective in the current event, which replaces the normal 4 hour XP timer with a 1 hour Exhaustion timer.

859 Posts	Link to post - Posted August 8th 2017 at 12:17 AM Andreas Leitha, the FL talent works as designed. As far as I can see the initial timespan to gain XP is 300 minutes or five hours. At max talent this is reduced by 90% or 270 Minutes. You get XP every 30 minutes. At level 5 it is reduced by 25% or 75 minutes. You get XP every 225 minutes or 3 hours 45 minutes.

859 Posts	Link to post - Posted August 8th 2017 at 10:46 AM Andreas Raymond as it is written above the icon, it's 18 levels. At least in the version for steam and browser the talent page displays everything nicely. Even if you haven't maxed a talent you can see how many levels max will be.
5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted August 8th 2017 at 1:15 PM Raymond i somehow was not seeing that because of the tool tip mouse over that says max, i expected the level to be spelled out that way. and kind of when i hover over a talent that popup bubble covers its talent completely, but i should have m=noticed the others or seen it before mousing over. my bad

I started playing about a month ago and up until I took Fast Learners, the XP timer was consistently 4 hours, which would mean the bug was before I took FL rather than after.

I would think there had been a lot more questions and complaints if that was the case. Also the number you see is a displayed value which is calculated. If it really was 4 hours all other values would have been sixty minutes lower than they were before. Meaning, some players would have experienced 0 or negative values. What I think could be possible, too is that you have seen 4 hours 59 minutes. For some time, the timer is not updated each second (or faster), but only every now and then which makes it a bit more difficult to discover the whole value.

3 Posts	Link to post - Posted August 13th 2017 at 5:46 AM Leitha @Andreas @Bazilus Crusaders which were never placed in formation had 'Next XP point in 4 hours', while for those I was using I saw a lot of 3 hours XX minutes. That said, I was assuming this was an account-specific or client-side issue from the start, as I didn't see anyone else mentioning it, and it certainly would have been obvious to many other players.
