I started up the game this evening to find a flash sale. The prize is a golden legendary for the Gold Panda.

I first played this game just in time for the Halloween 2016 event, and currently have a bit over 250k idols. I have occasionally spent money on your game, so I'm not opposed to doing so.

Since I haven't been playing since day 1, I still have 12 of the original 20 crusaders with at least one piece of rare gear. This group includes the Gold Panda. The GL you are trying to sell me is not for her rare piece - it is for a piece I already have the legendary for. I get that this IS an upgrade. But it is too incremental right now to even consider.

If you want me to spend my hard earned dollars on a flash sale, at least at this stage of my "game life", then the GL you are trying to tempt me with needs to at least replace a rare (or worse card). Perhaps later on when everyone is at least epic, I would think it worthwhile. But not now.

and those chests usually contain gear just for 5 or so crusaders, in your case it probably meant the panda as well...so not only would you have got a guaranteed upgrade, you could've got another one as well for the panda.
