Golden Legendary Crafting Math is off?

TheAngelicVixenSo I've been doing some crafting just like everyone else, and I made Golden Legendary Hat for Santa, Golden Legendary Gloves for Princess, and GL cufflinks for billy. So far, they've all said they would double (Or in the case of the Hat, quadruple (I thought [goes from 150% to 300% and then an additional 100% on top of that])
But My gold and DPS didn't quite double even though the associated items did. I chalked that up to there being other buffers But I just made billy's Handcuffs and even though the item said it went from 150% to 200%, the ability went from 50% to 80%, not 100%. It's acting like a Legendary, not a Golden Legendary, and its making me wonder if golden legendaries and legendaries are programmed for the same numbers looking back at my other stuff. |

TeschioIt looks like your math is off, not the dev's... doubling the bonus from an item doesn't double your DPS.
Easy example: your DPS is 100, and you have only one crusader with 1 piece of gear that increases it by 50%. So, your DPS becomes 150. Now, what will happen if that piece of gear increased it by 100% instead (twice the original value)? You DPS would be 200, which is not two times 150. Same thing for Billy's item: the base chance of double drop is 20%, with the basic +150% it becomes 50% (20 x [1+1.5]). But with +300%, it becomes 80% (20 x [1 + 3]). No errors there, except on your understanding of how percentage increases work.... |

TheAngelicVixenNo actually, It's not that i don't understand how percentages work, it's that i forgot that the base doesn't count towards the thingies. I was thinking that like, oh well if 150% is 50 then 200% should be 100%, but i forgot that the initial 20- is the base, not part of the +300%. Stupid Bases.
