The % for empty spots is broken.

As you can see his DPS goes down when I make an empty slot. Yes I have bought subtle magics for larry but as you can see from the mouseover it's not active in the first screen shot. The second screenshot shows the DPS lower with an empty slot even though you can see from the mouseover, he should have had a 200% DPS increase

I have an idea on what is wrong with the Hermit his backpack.

It currently states that it gives an 100% boost to DPS for every empty spot.
And I think it only gives an 10% boost for every empty spot.

I can't check it out because all my equips (that boost) are at 15% or higher.

Might this be because of the last ability of Snickette the Sneaky?

The Blame Game - Increase the DPS of all Crusaders by 50% when there are 2 or more leprechaun Crusaders in the formation.

As you remove Larry and thus only have a single leprechaun (Snickette) left in the formation?

it still should have went up as hermit has 200% per empty slot. i can't say for certain if i had that ability or not as i conpleted that objective and have moved on, but i don't think i did. either way, it might have went down some if i did have it but it should have went up a lot more for the legendary

Hi Karen,

Thank you for the report.

Looking at your screenshot, you were on the Grey Goo objective, with 4 Goos. That is 4 empty spots for a bonus of 800% DPS, so removing Larry made it 5 empty spots, and a bonus of 1000% DPS.

Larry was providing a 1.5 times multiplier (Snickette's Blame Game), and a 1.6 x multiplier (Larry's GE Cane) to your DPS.

So let's say that Hermit's base DPS is 100.

With Larry in formation, and the Lonerism bonus from 4 empty spots, Hermit's DPS is 100 x 1.5 x 1.6 x 9 = 2160.

Now you remove Larry to get 1 more empty spot, so Hermit's DPS becomes 100 x 11 = 1,100.


Hermit's Backpack is like Storm Rider's multiplier. The first empty spot is a big boost, and subsequent empty spots, especially if you have to remove Crusaders with DPS All gear or abilities to get those empty spots.

here's another. as you can see from this first screenshot, i only have 3 people in. no one has any abilities bought, and Jack has a 40% to all piece of equipment. http://prntscr.com/ek9w2i

Now here's the second screenshot. all i have done is remove jack and his DPS to all equipment. http://prntscr.com/ek9wme i also show that hermit's backpack is 200% per empty slot but his DPS goes down. (larry has a 60% to all gear, but that might not matter). Why does hermit's DPS drop so dramatically (18%) when I take jack out?

There are already 6 empty slots, so Lonerism is already doing a 1200% multiplier.

By removing Jack, you're removing a 1.4 multiplier and only increasing Hermit's multiplier from 1200% (x13) to 1400% (x5).

So assuming base DPS on Hermit is 100 again for simplicity.

With Jack, it's 100 x 1.4 x 13 = 1820.

Without Jack, the calculation is 100 x 15 = 1500.

So you are removing a 40% buff in favour of getting an extra 13% buff to Hermit's base DPS from having another empty spot.
