Viktyr GehrigThe conversion rate of Silver Chests to Jeweled Chests is supposed to be approximately 1%, right?
I have over 400 chests right now, and I've only ever had one conversion. |

AnimenutSome of the percentages and actual results in the game have made me wonder, but in terms of the jeweled chest conversion, keep something in mind: It is a 1% chance each time, individually. That means all players (not individually) would receive 1 jeweled chest for every 99 others get, on average. The key words are "on average". I once played a game that implemented an event where you could earn tickets in the game, or buy them with real money in mass amounts, and using the tickets would get you decent prizes, but have a 0.1% chance of scoring you a special item that would have the game creators contact you directly and you could ask for ANY item in the game, regardless of whether or not it had gone rare (unavailable) or not. There was a certain item considered BY FAR the best in the game, but was only available to players who were around when the game first started. You could ask for that if you wanted. I sunk $50 into tickets (equaling about 500 tickets), used them all, got more rewards than I knew what to do with, but no special 0.1% item. Because of some technical issues in the game, the devs had to refund everyone all the tickets they had used, but because it was the devs' own faults, players were allowed to keep their prizes and re-use all their tickets again, so I did. 1000 tickets down the hole, nothing. Meanwhile, I heard of people getting the 0.1% item within 5 tries.

Viktyr GehrigOh, I'm not *even* mad, and I don't want the devs to do anything about it except maybe have another look at their RNG code. Percentages in this game seem really wonky.

It's not a bug, just a period of bad luck. The chance of conversion is unique to each chest drop. There is no pity timer. So first you need to be getting a chest win from a boss kill, then the dice need to roll in favour of an upgrade for that chest. |

VingummiIve seen plenty of people in the chat saying they got 2 jeweled chests in a row. So it seems youre just on a roll of silvers. Jeweled chests will start popping when they feel like it.

Viktyr GehrigAt 459 chests, the odds that at least one conversion should have occurred are slightly greater than 99%. I currently have 563.

Raymondthat 1% number is unverified and incorrect.
i have 3229 unopened silver and have also opened 9.81k silver, and have opened 572 jeweled. BUT a lot of those jeweled are bought with ruby's and a lot also are event ones. so if you really want a number for conversions, it's more like 0.1% |

ihatethisfingwould be great for number crunchers if the game didnt count bought jeweled chests (or ones obtained from event objectives) toward the count of jeweled chests opened.
