TygariLast Edited November 26th 2016 at 2:33 PM Metal Soldierette
Momma Khaine *Quantum Locked Vial of Life-Giving Goo Dark Gryphon *Pure Jade Serpent Statue of Hardiness *Far-Seeing Spectacles of Perfect True-Sight Metal Soldierette is a tank class crusader so has a lot of HP and a special to self heal and special to reduce damage -50%. Dark Gryphon doubles Metal Soldier HP and reduces remaining damage -90% This makes total damage reduction -95%. Momma Khaine has a powerful heal to restore 50% of targets health every tic. These abilities combined make Metal Soldierette neigh indestructible. Throw in Fright-o-Tron 4000 with Remote Detonation and Petra the Pilgrim with Share the Wealth and your team becomes even more unstoppable. Even against insanely overwhelming odds. That is a powerful girl power team combo. |

TeschioLast Edited November 27th 2016 at 9:46 AM Yes, but it takes a VERY long time to progress. And it suffers the fact that at some point, she is going to be capped at 6k levels, even attacked by a hundred enemies she'll still do less damage than, say, Alien.
Although, be happy, as a hardcore feminist you can rejoice from the knowledge that Alien is a female as well... |

ZvereckIt doesn't matter who invincible or indestructible in this game! If you don't insta-kill, then forget about those crusaders!

MrTonyCaliI have not tried that girl combo, does sound interesting. With this last event i used.
Pumpkin Jack +100% Health / 33% DMG Reduc Half-Blood Heals 37.5% Max Health Ranger Rayna Heals 25% Max Health Montana James +30% DMG Reduc Fright O -15% Max Health of Monsters The rest of the group + GoldFind... so yes it plows them down, collects lots of gold, and then it hits a brick wall LOL. I am finally hitting area 700 |

AnimenutPure novelty. Fun to mess around with, since it is amusing seeing an ungodly horde of monsters stack up against an invincible crusader, but the game isn't really about survival as much as it is about endlessly hacking down enemies. There was a bug a little while ago that made crusaders literally invincible. As in, they took no damage whatsoever from anything, even from damage-self-buffing bosses. If nothing else did, then this definitely proved the downside of invulnerable crusaders. Even if you can manage to not die in a level, if the enemies have too much health compared to your DPS, you will not be getting any kills. Or rather, any kills you do get would take FAAAAAR too long. It is actually better so be at least modestly frail so that time isn't wasted in an area where kills are extremely slow. If you're not killing stuff almost instantly, the point of the game is pretty much negated. Near-invincibility is novel, but ONLY novelty. More of a situational tactic for getting by annoying objectives.

TygariMrTonyCali that sounds interesting.
Animenut yep which is what forced me to come up with this combo. It was the tier two objective that zeroed all dps and gold every other minute leaving my crusaders helpless that forced me to figure out a way to survive. It really got put to the test when one zeroing lasted for some 30 mobs. I was amazed it worked so well. |

KameRoseLast Edited November 30th 2016 at 5:13 PM Do not forget to throw in Mindy to mimic Gryphon and you can have it down to 99.5% damage reduction.

MrTonyCaliMindy still seems broken, if you have her in the middle of a group. lots of lag/pause/freezing whatever when switching abilities

Muljo StphoLast Edited December 30th 2016 at 6:44 PM "Godly Healing: Increases the effect of Healing on Thalia by 100%"
combine Thalia with Momma Kaine geared as the topic creator noted and you'll have Thalia receiving healing equal to 100% of his max health every second. Sure it's kind of a novelty just the same as any other tanking combo mentioned here, but think about it... He'd only ever actually fall down when enough enemies cluster up (or the boss enrage goes on long enough) that they can completely wipe him out in less than 1 second. For any amount of damage short of that he'll just instantly bounce back to full health. (And unlike Metal Soldierette, the healing coming in at Thalia will remain consistent. MS has her overpowered self-heal when few enemies are attacking, but every additional attacker weakens her self-heal and she'll have no self-heal left starting with the 34th attacker. Then she's just got the 50% from Momma Kaine at that point.) |

Viktyr GehrigLast Edited January 14th 2017 at 4:12 PM The trick to taking advantage of ridiculous healing/damage reduction is to be able to deal splash damage and scale your DPS according to the number of enemies onscreen, so that you don't become bogged down.
Petra's Share the Wealth is 20%. Gear can increase that to 40%, and her husband can boost that to 60%. Mindy can boost that further as well as copy Share the Wealth herself, but I don't know how the math works. But you're still effectively dealing a percentage of your static DPS to a screen full of monsters we've already established you can't kill in a timely fashion. You're not going to punch deeper into the map or farm any gold this way. Merci's Deflect Evil starts out lower, but increases with the number of monsters on-screen. I am *informed* it caps at 100% of DPS, but can't verify. (I'm new and don't have the crusaders or gear for a tank setup that tough.) Epic Mindy can double that to 200% of DPS, but that's still static damage. But if you place Mindy adjacent to Merci *and* Wendy the Witch, she also increases her DPS by up to 20% for every monster on screen, with no cap. (Jack can double that with the right gear, but Greyskull can dramatically boost your gold production.) You will eventually reach an equilibrium point where you are dealing 100% + Mindy's Mimic total of your DPS to every monster on-screen with your DPS staying relatively steady, as you kill monsters at roughly their spawn rate. The further you punch past your actual weight class, the higher the number of monsters it will take to reach that equilibrium point, slowing down your machine. This might work for Deep Idol Scavenging when you're leaving the game to idle over night, but it's probably still less efficient than just resetting when your DPS stops keeping pace with the spawn rate. |
