Android linking
3 Posts	Link to post - Posted November 16th 2016 at 1:48 PM Lirelent It was my impression that once I linked accounts I could go back and forth? is this syncing not immediate? I attempted to link between kongregate and android. My game that I started on android did show up on kongregate, then I played on kongregate for awhile, and then tried to switch back to android and the new progress did now show up there. So now they're acting like separate games. On kongregate there is a "linked accounts" screen that shows kongregate and androiddevice, but of course there is no such menu option in the google play version of the game, clicking on kongregate in the menu on android just brings me to my account page on kongregate it does NOT show the screens indicated at http://codenameentertainment.com/?page=idle_linking_faq is that page just out of date, or for the iOS version or what? I have very little progress so I don't really care if I lose the progress I just want to get the games synced so I can go back and forth, especially since I have a DLC code that I must put into the kongregate version of the game, and have it sync to android since apparently the android version doesn't support codes?

3 Posts	Link to post - Posted November 16th 2016 at 2:07 PM Lirelent I believe you, it's more how do I fix the funny state I find myself in. the kongregate game shows http://i.imgur.com/O31Obwl.png so there is /some/ sort of link in place, so i did something but apparently not the right thing?

They show up if you have progress on a Kong account and sign into Kong either before loading the app or from in the app itself. If you had a Kong account prior to loading the game on your device, that had not yet started playing Crusaders, then your device was automatically linked to Kong. If you made the Kong account on your device to link it, then the messages would have popped up when you closed the Kong screen. If you linked your mobile progress to your Kong account Lirelent, then logging into Lirelent on Kong on a computer would have your mobile progress. Sometimes an update to the app can sign you out of Kong, and you will need to sign back into Kong from the mobile app.

3620 Posts	Link to post - Posted November 16th 2016 at 3:03 PM Erika/Alyniana Glad to hear it's working. :) If the app was backgrounded while you were playing on the computer, there's the possibility that your mobile app didn't resume properly when you switched back, and so showed you the old previous information until you took an action that talked to the server and told it to update the progress with the information from your time on the computer.
