134 Posts	Link to post - Posted November 12th 2016 at 6:39 AM thedude I am wondering if anybody else is having this problem. I usually keep my crusader level buttons locked on x25 or x100, (hold down the requisite buttons, right click, release buttons, left click,) but I have been having issues with it lately. When there is not enough money to purchase a level, the button is understandably grayed out, and when we get enough money to level the crusader, it should turn green. However, I have noticed that when you get enough money to unlock multiple levels at the same time, e.g. at the end of a level, it remains grayed out even though it shows how many levels you could buy. This requires me to clear the multiple and reset it. It is not a major issue; it is however frustrating, especially when it happens multiple times in short succession. I don't think that this is a big enough issue to submit a trouble ticket for it, but I would like to let the programmers know to keep an eye out for any possible fixes. Thank You.

5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted November 12th 2016 at 8:28 AM Raymond a level button on a crusader does become greyed out and will forever remain greyed out on that run once you have leveled him to the max which is 5,000 unless you buy a certain talent that can allow you to increase that to 6,000. I have had all 20+2 of my crusaders at max (actually since at that point gold is uselss I leveled all 60 of my crusaders to max).

Once a crusader is maxed, out the button only says "LVL UP" and will not have a number on it representing the number of levels you can afford; as such the two situations are easy to differentiate.
319 Posts	Link to post - Posted November 12th 2016 at 12:53 PM ihatethisfing raymond seems to stray off topic/point these days somehow. the graying out has been happening to me for quite some time (months)....i never did the "trick" where you make it stay at x10, x25, or x100. gets stuck like that without doing it as well......

189 Posts	Link to post - Posted November 12th 2016 at 2:29 PM Azaryah This was addressed on the Kongregate CotLI forum several days ago - and it seems that the ability to lock-in buying 10, 25, and 100 levels was never an intended feature, just a useful glitch. Adding intentional buttons for this (maybe like on the mobile version) is apparently on the suggestions list.

It was working perfectly fine right before the update and has not been working since. After doing typical troubleshooting of clearing cache, refreshing, restarting, and checking for updates. I sent in a ticket Saturday morning and they said: "Thank you for getting in touch. We didn't change anything that would have caused that. It's most likely due to a browser update that returns focus to the game when you take an action in the game. We have it on our player suggestion list to try and fit in a toggle for the level up buttons so you don't have to hold the keys, and we'll see what happens." However, I am using Google Chrome and it was last modified on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. I also have Windows 10 and it says "Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1607 (for x64-based Systems) (KB3201860) Successfully installed on 10/30/2016" Both updates were from earlier that week. After I pointed that out Erika sad: "I double-checked with the developer and he didn't change anything related to the Crusader level up buttons."

Read somewhere that it isn't a bug, since it was not intended as a feature. However, it is one of my most-used features of the game. I typically play on my laptop to my side, while watching/doing other stuff on my main TV/monitor. So, its really handy to be able to keep an eye on my main dps'ers, and click them when they hit 25 or 100. When the buttons go dead, its a pain to have to reach for the keyboard and reset them. Have made the suggestion before, hope CE will incorporate it into the game and make it stable.

B/c to lock it at 100 there is the classic hold down control, right click in the game, release the control button, then left click. There is also a bit simpler way. Hold down the control button, click outside the game, and release the control button. Now when I locked the level buttons at 100 and hit the level up button the level buttons would grey out except for my DPS if I had leveled him/her up right before I leveled everyone else with the level all. That is what I call 'normal' because it has been happening since the beginning. However, If I leave it locked at 100 and just level up my main DPS, his/her the button would never grey out 'normally'. Now since the update it greys out after a couple clicks. Where 'normally' I could leave it locked and set an auto clicker to level my DPS on an efp and come back 7 hours later to my DPS to still being leveled.
