Just wanted to say thank you for a interesting fun game. I am disabled, i was a big World of Warcraft player but do to a nerve disorder my hands just ain't like they used to be...
So my youngest son came home on a college break, saw me bored just playing things like candy crush. Told me i really need to give this a try.
and well i'm loving it.. really gives the mind a challenge, takes some thought to either get the best gold formation, dps group or heavy tank/heal group.
Wife is happy also that it keeps me from just sitting dazed at the screen. Always asking how my little people are doing haha!
I am up to 27.5k idols, which must be really low since i am finally hitting area 600.

Think about my only question as of now would be the Talent "Speed Runner"
will this lessen the time on say the 2day missions or just give me more 30-60min missions?
Thanks again!

You're welcome. Impressive progress.

Speed Runner makes missions with a duration 4 hours or shorter show up more often than the longer missions. It doesn't reduce the time that missions take.

Just a little clarification, that talent does not influence in any way the most important missions of all, those to upgrade an event crusader's gear (which are always 2 days long). So, you can buy that talent without the risk of getting those important missions more rarely. Imho, not a bad talent, but if you don't have many idols, there are much more important things (essentially those that let you farm faster, so Efficient Crusading and Deep Idol Scavenging, plus a few DPS talents). Don't bother with Extra Training for now, it's an EXTREMELY expensive talent (227k idols to max!) and only comes into play if you reach 5k levels with your main DPSer on a regular basis - something that won't happen for quite a while.

Oh, and welcome to the game!

I'm a pretty similar story. Used to raid to the wee hours then MS killed my coordination. I'm glad you found Crusaders. :) I'm pretty sure there are a lot of us retired trolls, orcs, elves and gnomes playing.
