I have been playing the level 350 level for about 2 months now. Its getting boring because it is taking for EVER to get my levels up to hit level 350.

For example storm rider is 3705% and sarah the collecter has 390 experience.
My gold bonus is 43.1K% but I don't even get enough gold overnight to level up Sarah, my best character. I like this game, but I am bored and ready to move on.

Can someone help?

Hi Mingushere,

you probably have started an objective which is still too hard for you and your idol count. As sad as it may sound, my suggestion would be to abandon this objective and either do easier objectives (the ones where lower Idol count is listed as a requirements) or do Free Plays - Free Plays are always helpful to get more idols. This way, you collect silver chests which help to get buffs or even some more gear if your crusaders are missing a few pieces (or have common gear) or provide gold bonus to level up your formation or single crusaders if you don't open them right away.

Also, maybe you can already get a higher gold bonus (to be able to level your main DPS-crusader) by switching your formation. I.e. if the formation layout has three or four crusader spots in the same lane, put Kaine in one of these spots to maximise his gold-buff-skill. Plus, check if Sarah really is the best choice for your main DPS. If you have just started playing the game, maybe Hermit is a better choice if he is in the first lane. Or Emo if he is not surrounded by a human crusader. Or even Sal the Merman if King Reginald is in your formation.

At a certain point, the timed bonusses (Storm Rider and Experience Points) are hardly of any use anymore since they only add bonus to your DPS, but the Hitpoints of monsters and bosses increase exponentially each level.

Since there is an event going on, it might even be better to start the first objective of the event. If you have been playing for so long on another objective, you probably have quite a lot of Participation Ribbons collected. These objectives (at least the first two ones and the free play there) are easier than the objective you are on.

The mistake here is trying an objective too soon. This game is ALL about patience and farming. At some time your progression stops, no matter how much time you put into it. If an objective takes more than 12 hours, you are doing it wrong, it's better to reset and farm some more on freeplay. Farming gives you idols (so DPS and gold find), that can be used for talents (even more DPS or utility). In these 2 months you could have gotten maybe 50k idols, which really make a difference. My suggestions is: quit the objective now, farm for a month, and then try it again: I guarantee you that next time it will take you no more than 4 hours to finish it. Never ever EVER continue a run after you stop instakilling monsters, unless it's the last levels of an objective.

Yeaaah you should've gone for more idol farming. That's the real progression of the game, while bashing your head on the wall like you were doing achieves nothing.

While I would quibble about the 12 hour limit, there is definitely no reason to be doing a mission for as long as you have. The longest I ever stayed on a single mission was three days, and I realized afterwards that it was a mistake. You should reset and try either free play or one of the easier missions. The required idols for each mission is a good indicator of difficulty, provided you multiply the number provided by about ten. Good luck!
