Free play gold different from objective gold?

metalNiXWhen i do Grimm's Idle Tails free play, i get about 1000x more gold per enemy on the first board alone than when i do witches and wizards (level 300). The same goes for free play on Ghostbeard's Greed vs Shiver Me Timbers. It is not documented anywhere (anywhere obvious, at least) that there would be a gold bonus (in the case of free play) or a gold penalty (in the case of the objectives). Am i missing something or is this a bug?

ErichGhostbeard free play says:
"Increased gold drops to put it in line with other Free Plays" I'm going to assume this is the same for Grimm's, which is way easier in free play mode. I can't speak for Mugwart's because I haven't unlocked it yet. |

metalNiXoooo interesting i didn't catch that. I guess that answers it and they do jack up the gold bonus for free play. Thanks!

Erika/AlynianaYes, the Free Plays have more gold than the objectives.
It's on the to-do list to add the explanation about the gold to the rest of the Free Plays. |

kjbdsErich - Mugwart's also has markedly increased gold drop. For me (it's gear / crusader dependent), I get the best idols / time ratio from Grimms, despite Mugwarts having more gold drop. My wildly unscientific methodology is simply how long does it take me to get the same crusaders to the same level in various worlds.
