I was disappointed to see the crusader limit is lvl 5000. I was hoping it was just a rumor. This makes Area 800, not to mention 1000 unachievable without buffs, and or grinding for days (xp)

Some of us need goals to keep playing. Campaigns and events are fun but short lived at this point.

Campaigns were first, then the remaining achievements, then goals to hit 600, 700, and 800+

Now what?

Short of new content... a higher crusader limit would help, to know we could push further if we wanted to.

Made it to 723 unbuffed, and 744 lightly buffed. was close to getting a second main to 5k when I reset.

But this is the limit, since Nate 5000 is the strongest crusader

Hoping aswell level cap will be raised to atleast 10000, so zone 1000 is possible, because as you said, it's impossible now

Sure 800 is possible with buffs and or xp. I didn't think I implied otherwise. by the way, how did you manage over 8 hours of kong buff?

Hi Matt,

Sorry to hear you are lacking a new challenge.

The designers are aware that some players have been able to achieve the max level for Crusaders, and they are willing to consider raising it in a future update, but there is no public ETA for that at the moment.

I'm sorry, but people do this with every single CE game. They go way out of their way to grind outrageous amounts and then complain everything is too easy and that they finish too fast. These games are casual games, I've been casually playing since day one and have maybe half the objectives available done. Either learn to pace yourself or just accept that you're going to have periods of downtime while playing these games.

There's a difference between running out of objectives to do and there being a random cap on crusader levels, which I assume exists not for game balance reasons, but because the programmers never expected people to get that far and/or the game isn't built to handle DPS numbers that high. I don't think removing the level cap would be an issue game balance wise, though it might cause bugs at super high levels. But if there's an achievement for getting to zone 1000, they should at least make is somewhat possible to do so.

I wouldn't care about the level limit if it wasn't because there is an Area 1000 achievement.

@Erika/Alyniana Might I suggest you speed up your consideration of raising the level cap? As my account will show, I've spent quite a bit of cash on buying chests, but having found out today that I can't exceed lvl 5,000 I won't be buying anymore until that arbitrary limitation is removed.

I heard from another player that there was no intention of increasing the crusader level limit due to fear of server crashes. I can only hope this is not true.

Please reconsider if this is true. We know more content will come, but something allowing us to repeat campaigns... i.e... world domination #2, #3, etc... and a possible leaderboard for area and idols would keep many interested. But simply farming for more idols for more talents, with no way to put them to use is reason to walk away for most at that level unfortunately

We realize that the limit is a pain point. There are more players hitting it than we expected.

We do intend to raise it, however just not at the moment.

We plan to hide the area 1000 achievement until we get time to look into the Crusader level limit.

More, and harder, objectives are coming as well, for players to test out their talents on.

Why don't you just release "ranger" crusaders to circumvent the problem. Units that you can unlock later when you reach like e80 gold and more. Just like they did in Clicker Heroes.
