On Plaid Friday, I've been earning gold much faster when I'm not online than when I am. For example, at one point I'd unlocked area 200, but area 198 was that last area I could play indefinitely on. I had 4.58D DPS, and earned around 10T gold/minute while online. When I went offline, I earned about 170T gold/minute (the same rate that the warps give) instead. The actual offline/warp earnings increased whenever I unlocked a new area, even if I couldn't play in that area more than a minute without being wiped out. Chest gold seems to be in line with offline gold earnings.

As a result, I've been able to make the Plaid Friday objective in 11 hours with only 1277 idols, opening 20-30 chests, using no warps, and no buffs other than one power burst. I suspect that's not supposed to be possible.
