I know I'm either just having bad luck or salty, but is 8% really the average? I've opened up 75 jeweled chests and gotten 3 epics and 3 epic trinkets...(0 from 2 carnival chests.) I'm all for supporting the game, because I truly do enjoy it. However, I don't really feel an incentive to purchase any more due to such a low drop rate.

When I first stated playing, I bought a bundle for the Jim Axe. Everything I got out of the chests was undesirable. But I got the Jim axe, so I didn't have buyers remorse. Shortly after, I purchased the $10 option and got 7 chests. Pretty much all garbage, and an epic for a crusader I'll probably never use.

I don't gamble. Simple as that. A lot of times I will be persuaded by a f2p game to make a purchase, and I want to support the game. But when I make a purchase and its a gamble, there is a high chance at buyers remorse. Once I have buyers remorse, its very hard for me to spend money on the product again.

The problem is not so much with usles epics. Its with useless crusaders that epics can drop for. All the desirable epics I've gotten from promo codes. Every epic from chests has been for crusaders I don't use, and duplicates of useless epics for crusaders I never use.

On each of the events I have been compelled to buy chests. This is a little more rewarding as you are getting higher chances to get the gear for 2 specific crusaders. Still, after spending $10 and not getting a single epic I once again feel buyers remorse. Now that I have over 4k idols. Buying events chests is becoming useless unless I want to spend unreasonable amounts of money. A dps crusader like Wendy the Witch will not be able to be viable for established accounts unless crazy amounts of money is spent to push her gear + EP to levels similar to those of your existing crusaders. Even the Golden epic that was a guaranteed epic, the reason I decided to buy the bundle in the first place, was useless. My last three purchases have resulted in buyers remorse. Now when I load the game, I think mainly about how I wasted my money, and less about how much I enjoy the game.

If the shop requires us to gamble. We need to have less useless options. There should be gear we really want, and gear that is not as amazing, but still useful. When real money is involved. Players really should not be getting dead space in a paid chest... ever. (CDR past 50% cap, duplicate epics, etc, etc). Getting EP, low tier buffers, or time warps still grant something to the player, when you get a duplicate epic, or CDR card when over 50%, from a paid chest, you might as well be getting a card that says "you lose".

I love the game, and would love to feel good about supporting it when I do choose to do so.
