Thien Nguyen DangLast Edited October 9th 2015 at 11:12 AM This week update is the most disappointing update I have ever seen... The Speed buff seems nice but there's many bug about it and it doesn't seem to be that useful.
The Splash buff seems to synergy extremely well with Speed buff, but it turns out that it doesn't because of how Speed buff works atm... I posted a BUG report about the Speed buff. Wish you can read it ASAP to fix the Speed buff. |

The old buffs were a much bigger benefit when used efficiently Not impressed with the new buffs, personally. A step backwards. :( Optimized BW formation with no buffs: http://imgur.com/J9nWnIU You can imagine what that would look like with click buffs |

Erika/AlynianaHi Guys,
Using the Bush Whacker is a legitimate way to play, but the buffs are intended to be used in a wide variety of situations, not just when clicking. In the end we made the changes that we felt were the best moving forward based upon our own feelings and feedback from the community via the in-game poll, forum posts, and direct feedback. We appreciate your feedback and we will keep it in mind for any future changes to the game. Erika --- @ Thien: We're responded to you bug thread. In the future, bug reports go in the Technical Support forum, not the Features forum. |

Matt SilvaUnderstood... just my opinion on the newest changes. I enjoy the game but was disappointed in the new buffs with regard to how "I" play

KeySer87Last Edited October 9th 2015 at 1:03 PM Same, i'm very diasppointed in the buff change. All people with high amount of idols/more expierenced players are, since it ws the best clik related buff.
People who dislike the removed buff don't have that much idols yet and are unexpierenced players that don't know how to make use of it. Can't you just do the same thing with clik as u did with crit? Or boost the one you kept, making it ATLEAST 2-3 times stonger. Sine this buff is removed now, are you also planing on removing bush and all click related items? You made them 100% useless now. |

Jason M. BryantI like the new buffs pretty well so far. Really, it will take some time to form a good opinion. I spent weeks figuring out how to take advantage of the old buffs, I'll be able to compare them better after I've had time to figure out the best strategies for these buffs.
First impression, the speed buff feels underpowered for how I'm trying to use it. I really just want to zoom through the first hundred levels, since they've become boring. While I can see a difference in how long they take, it's still so long that it's boring. So maybe that isn't the best use for the speed buff. Does anyone have a suggestion for a better tactic with the speed buff? |

Thien Nguyen DangLast Edited October 9th 2015 at 7:53 PM @Jason: ATM, I have tried all tactics I can think of for speed buff and the most useful way to use it is to stack them at lower level, then manually pick up all item to make the most use out of them.
But even then, I waste like 80 min buff on each Common, Uncommon and Rare Speed buff and my run only reduce from 120 to 80 min (for one single reset). So I waste like 30 Common buff, 15 Uncommon and 10 Rare just to make one of my reset 30% faster... The Splash buff is even worse... Using Bushwhacker without click buff can push you further than using Splash buff. And the Speed buff doesn't actually increase spawn speed so you can't synergy the 2 buff for them to be useful. Overall, the new buff basically do nothing... Well it increases your farm speed just a little bit but the cost is too much. |

Bluji"the Speed buff doesn't actually increase spawn speed"
What? It says in the blog that "the Spawn Speed buff cards increase the velocity at which new monsters appear on screen; if you're quickly killing monsters as they spawn, this means that they'll be attackable much sooner after they've appeared". Isn't that exactly what you're claiming they DON'T do? |

Thien Nguyen DangAs I have said, it doesn't "actually" increase spawn speed. You do clear the early wave faster than normal due to the velocity increase which is a pseudo-spawn rate increase, but since it doesn't increase spawn speed, it cannot be used in conjunction with Splash buff, which make Splash buff extremely useless since normal Click with BW is even better at doing boss/hard stage.

Jason M. BryantLast Edited October 10th 2015 at 7:28 AM Well, those of us who don't have the bushwacker benefit from having the splash. That was kind of the problem, I think the majority of players didn't use the bushwacker, but the majority of buffs were for clicking. They do need to support people who use him, so hopefully they can find a good balance for both of us.
As for the speed bonus, I don't need it to help with the boss waves, I'd just like it to last 10 times as long so it will cut down on early round grinding. |
