Hi Everyone,

It has come to our attention that items being leveled up in the blacksmith are coming out with higher primary stats than intended. In some cases blue items coming out higher than purples. This of course is not the intention. We are looking into it right now and should have a fix in later today or early tomorrow morning.

As part of this fix we will be adjusting the stats on incorrectly level up items to be inside the correct range of stats for that item type, level, and rarity. This largely effects items that were crafted at a low level and leveled up a number of times. But it will also effect the level 15 and 25 gear obtained from the 2 mp dungeons.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

would this patch affect epic items that have been leveled up with power frags?

Hi.

I know i've upgraded some low level rares and uncommon to level 30 for my companions.
Changing the stats might be problematic since i might have discarded better items after you lower the stats. Any way this will be taken into consideration?

Since it don't know how much this will affect the equipment and what the stats was on the discarded items, i can never be sure that i had the best items equipped.
Perhaps you guys have log on this and can find out.

Hi Jmyster69,

The tier up of epic equipment for power fragments is not effected. Only leveling up items from 1 to 30 with level up kits.

Hi Tharexia,

Unfortunately the logs do not keep a record of what the stats were on items after they get sold or salvaged. When stats are rolled for an item we use the type, the level, the rarity, a multiplying factor, and a small random factor. The type, level, and rarity are the biggest determining factor for what stats end up on an item. All of which will not change so the items being the same level, rarity, and type will result in very similar stats to what you otherwise may have discarded.

Hi.

I know you guys will fix this the best way you can. I see the problem, with a rare with higher stats than an epic, so it needs to be addressed.
