As promised this is upcoming changes part 2! *** All systems and functionality described here is subject to change. These are our current thoughts and prototypes. *** Heroic Difficulty Tiers - The heroic missions will now have progressively more challenging tiers that can be completed in sequence. Completing heroic missions will yield Epic Power Fragments which will be used to power up your epic equipment. Loot will be adjusted to reflect the higher difficulty level with incremental increases in odds for gems, rare equipment, and epic equipment with each difficulty increase. Heroic Multiplayer - For those looking for a more challenging multiplayer experience, multiplayer will also be available in heroic mode. Heroic multiplayer will have the same tiers as described above for single player, and will also yield Epic Power Fragments. The loot on heroic multiplayer will be similarly adjusted to single player heroics, but with better yields. Equipment Level Up - You will be able to upgrade the level of your equipment at the Blacksmith using Equipment Level Up Kits. Uncommon and rare level up kits will be craftable, and epic will be purchasable from the Hall of Trials store. Leveling up equipment will increase its effectiveness level and increase its stats. This should increase the usefulness of items by allowing you to upgrade them to keep their effectiveness level up instead of having to full out replace them. Epic Equipment Tier Up - Using the Epic Power Fragments found in the heroics missions epic equipment will be upgradable. Each upgrade will increase the all of the stats on the equipment by +20%. Once again nothing here is set in stone and may change as we finish and test each feature. These features should be ready by the end of this week / early next week. Additionally we have 3 new bounty missions slated for later in the week. I will be watching this thread and will try to follow up on any questions, comments, or concerns posted! -David |

KeiahHi David,
Any update on the Ranger Battle Rating issue in regards to how the damage rating calculation is done? It seems silly that there is no ranger in the op 100 in BR on S1 and only a couple on s2. Yes, the attack damage is ending up divided twice. This will be corrected in the next update. -David |

MrPTMy only real concern in all this is the low number of players on the server and trying to find the teams to do say T4 heroic and its result being having to do easier just to find enough people, ofc i have a suggestion depending on how you are coding the new heroics.
The initial person creates a heroic mp, selecting their desired T level, as i am badass i choose T6. Players then join into the heroic mp by also selecting their own T level. Now the way i see it we have 4 players a T6, T2, T3, T5. You have 2 options The proceeding mp ither averages out and gives us a T4 mp run, or and this would be my preferred option but may be server heavy each mob fights in repsect of the players choice. Bear with me will explain better what i mean. If i enter as T1 the mobs i hit are hit with 100% of my force and hit me back with 100% of theirs. Defences are unaltered If i enter as T2 i hit with 95% but hit back with 105% from the mobs. Defences also alter in the same way so my defence is reduced by 5% mobs by 5% All the way upto T6 in 5% increments. This would allow for mixed mp's of different strengths but allowing us all to carry on playing at our own strengths Hope that makes sense and look forward to actually having a challenge |
