Well.... that's interesting.... because it must be broken for my account (and many others)...

I am OCD, and follow the numbers naturally and closely... I follow numbers like; I know that if I have 7 epic rings, and 32 crystals, that after I salvage them, I'll have 46... and I always do (always 2 from each)... but besides that, when I heard people saying they often get 3, I've been paying extra special attention to it...

I didn't bring it up because I thought they were pulling my leg or something... cause I have NEVER got 3...

It was farflier I heard say it once... that he often gets 3 crystals from the rings... and that he had 192 crystals saved up!!! :o - And that was a few days ago... I've got no idea what he has now (a few days later)... but because of those extreme numbers, I thought he was joking around...

I asked Annie to keep an eye on how many reforge crystals she was getting too.. but she also confirmed, every single time, always 2...

I thought it might be based on the item quality... e.g. I sometimes received an Armour ring as low as +73, and as high as +88 (primary skill)... but sure enough, nope, always 2 crystals from them... so I had convinced myself even more they were just 'pulling my leg' by saying they were getting 3.

It's only now after the event has ended, that I was talking to other people, asking if they had saved up crystals, that I discovered more people saying they were usually getting 3 crystals from the rings!!!! - along with loads more players saying they have only ever got 2.

I put massive effort into this event, purposely to collect reforge crystals by playing 5 Heroic MP every day... and also going to the effort to escort lower level players that were having a hard time finding a strong enough team to carry them...

So is it reasonable for me to ask for this massively unfair salvage bug to be fixed, and to be credited with the reforge crystals that I have missed out on?

Do I need to open a support ticket? - can I just link them to this thread, rather than copy/pasting the contents into the ticket? lol

I've always paid attention to numbers... if I had ever received 3 from any level 30 item, I would have been, like, "oh wow! I just got 3!"... but it's never happened. I'm 99% certain that if the devs take the time to look at the logs they will see that... the other 1%, must be if there's something wrong with their logs, or with my account... perhaps a log might show that I receive 3, but infact I only receive 2.

Sounds like its a chance of getting 3 instead of 2 on a piece of gear enchanted to level 30. So if you haven't gotten 3 maybe you have just been unlucky, how many lvl 30 gears have you salvaged?. I haven't gotten rid of any lvl 30 gear yet so I haven't had the chance to see.

Paying close attention to the salvaged items, I can confirm that I never get 3 crystals either, it is always just 2.

Also, I am so fed up with not being able to do as much damage as the other 2 classes. Can we, please, have a skill that also doubles+ our damage? Fed up seeing only rangers and warriors in the scoreboards.

Also, I am hoping this is a "bug", but these 2 overpowered classes both also have greater armor and hats (from HoT and BH). How can you justify this move? Warriors have 50% greater armor than wizards, yet we can't deal as much damage as they do? I'm forced to play on defensive sidelines because in no way I can blow things up with my nerfed skills like rangers and warriors. We are the forgotten race, and I don't even know why I'm bothering to write this, because it will be brushed off like any other suggestions/comments above and before...

If this is a bug, the longer it goes on, the bigger the impact of the advantage of those who are lucky enough to be getting 3.

But.... you said yourself you can get 2 or 3, weeks ago (at the top of this thread)... and left me to puzzle over this for weeks :S

The few people I have spoken to that say they got 3 crystals about half the time, I quizzed them to make certain they weren't being mistaken...

I asked them "really???" and "how often do you get 3 instead of 2?", and they confirmed "about half the time" - if they were mistaking the scrap for crystals, then they would have said they got 3 EVERY time.

Farflier is one of them... Yelena is another... plus several others that I can't remember the names of... (edited out Yass as an example, I was wrong, it wasn't him)

But hang on... "We looked into it and identified an issue" - so there WAS an issue? - but "Anyone who says they have are mistaken".

?!?!?!?!?!?!

If there was an admission that there WAS a bug, that has now been fixed... I wouldn't be so passionate about this issue... But receiving the 25% extra reforge crystals that I missed out on would be nice :P At least as a reward for identifying this unfair and hard to notice bug? :D

Does that mean the "have gotten" needs editing out too?
