Incredible server-side lag all weekend, finally over now! (with a server crash)

But I'm still surprised nobody has posted to complain about the server lag all weekend long. Surely the weekend is the busiest time of the week for people playing games? - It would be nice if the devs could pop on to check that the game is running ok. ----- From when we had lag like this before, it was because of a server process using 100% CPU... We are all used to the inconvenience of having to refresh the game on our end to provide a temporary workaround to all the memory leak issues... It would be nice if the server did the same thing e.g. a proper automated server restart when the game day ends. It wouldn't be hard to install (or write a custom) monitoring script to send an alert email when the game server processes aren't behaving properly. I feel doesn't look good for a game like this to not have any support at the weekends. P.S. Hyperion Server btw.

"Everyone in my guild had issues with hyperion crashing yesterday. Deleting browser cache/flash cache did nothing. Updating chat took forever, quests/missions were horrid. Today I logged in an hour ago successfully and experienced the same issues and now trying to get in, i constantly get a disconnected message. Just an observation... you get a lot of players on the weekend and it is obvious no one from CNE is monitoring servers on their days off. If you want this to be a P2W game as it is becoming, there should be someone "oncall" for non business hours monitoring the status of the servers or setting up some kind of email alerts from the systems alerting you of systems issues. I know you are a small shop but there are things that you can do to alleviate what happened this weekend. "

We're still getting used to the 2-server mechanism and we will be working on things in house to hopefully not have something like this happen again. Erika
