HarperSo while we are still waiting for World Bosses and the new crafting system to come out, I thought we could start gathering ideas for other features we would like to see.
After seeing some discussion in the world chat, it seems there are quite a few people who would like some sort of farming. I know other similar games have farming systems, where you can grow crops for gold (or xp), but you could even have the option here for trees for lumber. Im not sure how you would want to do it in this game, but there are many options. Hopefully others will add to this thread and make detailed suggestions of how they envision a farming feature would work in this game. A personal suggestion on mine is for Animal Husbandry. Breeding mounts or other animals (horses, cows, any livestock really). Maybe with an equip window similar to the shard quarry, you can have one (or more) stalls, maybe unlocking more as you level. As you breed them, they acquire new stats or improve existing ones, but you are limited to having just one active, or one per stall active. My vision of it would be to have a farm (similar to housing in other games, I think even BW had something similar). You could use the stables south of the gate. You enter in the instance, and you have farming plots on one side for crops or trees or whatever, and your stables on the other. Maybe just an open pen where you can see different animals in the yard, but clicking on the stables house would bring up the window I mentioned earlier for actually playing the breeding mini-game or equipping your stats. My last bit is about the UI and controls. Many players have asked for more keyboard controls. I know its already too late for WASD movement to be designed in (I dont think the games code allows for that), but other functions would be nice. Skipping dialogue is probably the most asked for feature. Pressing space bar to "continue" or skip ahead in conversations. Maybe ESC could be to skip that conversation completely. I know in MP you would still have to wait on others to read or skip through, but you already have to do that now anyways. Other things, like pressing ENTER or using another key like "/" to make chat active. Just small quality of life improvements. |

HarperSo a couple more suggestions to keep things rolling.
First, a bank/warehouse for items. Ideally this would be shared on the account, so we can trade items with our Alts. Since we have to earn our Alt slots, it would be nice to be able to use the items we earn on them as well. I have no idea if the current coding in the game would allow for this. If not bank slots at all would be lovely. And if thats not possible either, at the very least, a tab in the inventory for event items to go into. Inventory space is already crammed for most, and if the winter event was an indication we will be getting more event items that never go away. Taking up our precious slots is just cruel, and selling them for 1 gold each is just silly. New tab that only holds event items should be possible. In regards to Arena, it would be nice to have some visual indicator of a persons BR. We get to see their Battle Rating in the logs after a match, so why would this information be hidden before a match? Also, it would be nice to have a visual indicator if a person is using Potions. Maybe have the buffs show on the profile picture in the arena, or even just a * or something on it somewhere to show they are "buffed above their natural state". |

TsukasaWMPer several complaints I've seen come up a "Block Guild Invites" feature would be nice for people getting bombarded with guild invites.

Gölök Zoltán Leenderdt BudayI don't, I have a guild and occasionally send them out. Usually when I kick cheep skates not even putting 10,000. I did feel maybe both those characters should have been met at different times. I also like the converging characters with "how they met" DQ4 like story telling in RPGs. Also think the Nate style artworks was better character design.
