RaymondA new Auction House stage would start out with a minimum bid of 65,000. I can see immediately that some who might be in that level range would complain about how 'unfair' that is. But it's simple times 2. They would probably say, why create a new range when the previous one was perfectly fine.
You can't please everyone, real or currently imagined. |

Rebecca Beattienope can't please everyone. I bet the devs have stats for the players as a group that help them decide...
My intuition says that they might sell more BBs and safe guard future player retention if they add an auction house. But that is their business and they seem to be doing an excellent job so far... I am routing for their bottom line because I like the game |

Bob WoodsI will admit that I enjoy having the Auction House for when I am at like 93% of a puzzle or I am having a great day in regards to finding puzzle pieces or collector items, but I think if you are constantly grabbing bread, you will become dependent upon it and possibly you will lose interest in the game when it isn't available/needed. Though I am trying to max out in level, from what I have seen of other people who have maxed out and barely play, I am in no hurry. How many posts have we seen from folks saying, "I am maxed out, what do I do now?". When you think about it, why should people be rushing to get to level cap? I understand the need to accomplish it, yet honestly why kill an enjoyable pastime for yourself? How many of the folks that rush through it are going to stick around after they hit level cap and reach 100% or 100% of what they want to complete? I know I just like having my little Whacker Guy smashing things, so the objectives are just bonuses for me.

Nate DauerThe title is rather vague, actually. Objectively speaking, that puts the rest of the thread at a disadvantage in terms of quality. A concise title is one of the key elements needed for making a good thread.

Dave StoneWhen the aution house first become's available, There is'nt that much cash in the 'kitty' to keep running back to bid
when your energy run's out. If more auction house level's were introduced (with the higher price), Those that keep winning would in time, Start to run low on gold, Giving other player's with less gold a better chance of winning an auction. The side effect's of this, A player would take longer to complete new level's, Unless they bought the bread with bush buck's. |

Rebecca BeattieDave I thought this too at first. Now I think that is true only if the devs keep adding action houses so similar players the difference between players sharing a house is more limited.
The reason that I think that the wealthier players don't appear to be running out of money by bidding on bread is that there isn't enough bread available compared to the gold/players in the top house. I expect that an individual might run low on funds but I am betting that a different wealthy player could step up and bid while the tapped out ones restore their funds. Adding a house increases the amount of bread on the market as well as limiting access. More Bread on the market might increase the amount of gold being used to buy it. The Devs probably have stats on how much gold is in our economy as well as if they Auction House is starting to pull out some of the "Excess" funds. |

RaymondDon't confuse the Top Players with the High Players that this person is complaining about.
Most Top Players do not buy Bread, and as a bunch have said, they have never bought Bread. We just don't need it, we know how to restrain ourselves, we never got addicted to the availability of getting that extra Energy, we never became dependent on it, we just play the game. When new content comes out, or a short term holiday happens, we know that there is plenty of time for our regular massive Energy ability to take care of it in our own good time. There is absolutely no rush. |

Rebecca BeattieRaymond .. you are a sweet heart and do tremendous service on this board so I want to say this gently.
I don't see anyone complaining. I will admit to using language that is less than perfect. As far as I can tell we are discussing the game, and voicing opinions... a far cry from complaining. |

Rebecca BeattiePS to Raymond... I am absolutely sure that you play an excellent game that you find very satisfying. I expect that you and I have some differences in what makes a satisfying game. I am happy with the way I have played. And based on your post I doubt you would have been happy if you had to play as I do... those are the kind of differences that make the world amazing. (JMHO)
