Azamagon after making my post I found out the feed back loop of Mindy is a glitch exclusive to the app.
It doesn't work on the Kongregate version.
So it likely a glitch and will be removed from the app.
This is why my numbers are off.

Not sure if these links will work.

I won't upgrade anything that is not a Golden Epic. Otherwise I just wasted a Catalyst. You get so much more for your Catalyst then doing a regular Epic. I'm sure there are exceptions, I only have a Rare for Mindy's hat, so the point is moot for her, until I get an Epic, then there is nothing you can do.

Legendary bonuses are *much* better than the increase between E and GE. And if the GE exists for an E you have, upgrading it to a Legendary now will still allow you to upgrade to GL later.

Also, I posted incorrectly earlier because I mixed up my crusaders. If you're only going to upgrade *one* piece of gear besides Cufflinks/Hat, it's not Littlefoot's Camera, it's Frosty's Pipe. Littlefoot is only good if you're keeping her in your formation, and then you want both her Camera and her Spear.

Geoff, If you upgrade an Epic into a Legendary and then buy a Golden Epic for that item, that Golden Epic will automatically become a Golden Legendary, so don't worry about wasting materials on Epic gear.

Since my main DD is a Royal (Sal) I first upgraded Reginald's cape to level 4, so it buffs the Royal Grail ability by 800%. I also have the GE version of one of his other epics which buffs Royal Grail by 150% as well. In total, he buffs Sal's dps by 4500%, and with Mindy next to him for an additional 3375% dps this was by far my best choice.

Animenut, I hope your right, I haven't had any examples personally so I can't prove that will happen. I thought about it though, and it makes sense. However, Mindy, and her Hat is only (blue), and not an epic, so I rarely use her. Hopefully I get an epic, or a chance to purchase a Golden Epic soon, so I can try her out, and then upgrade to Legendary if needed.

Geoff, if you have ANY of her hats, I highly recommend using Mindy. Epic gear is certainly better than rare gear, but even with just the rare hat, the "Mimic" ability is too useful to pass up. I only have the rare hat(same as you), and even with that, I get massive double-dip bonuses. For example, I have Billy's GL cufflinks which cause his "Act of Congress" ability to have an 80% chance to double quest drops, and then with Mindy next to him, SHE has a 60% rate for the same effect, meaning I get triple and quadruple drops nearly all the time. Then, when switching to pure damage, her "Mimic" ability double-dips the utterly BROKEN "Precise Aim" ability on Veronica, to double-buff 1,000+%.

So believe you me, if you know where to place her, her "Mimic" ability is useful no matter what gear you have on her.

As for GLs being auomatic if you have already made the relevant item a legendary gear piece, Erika herself (a dev, if you didn't know) confirmed that is how it works so that players are not penalized and forced to double-craft the same legendary if they buy a golden epic.

I discovered a SERIOUSLY strong DPS-boosting legendary, possibly one of the best (unless there are others working similarly?).

Pete's Chicken.

Each character NOT affected by Bad Joke grants a DPS-increase. First I thought each one affected added up to a total benefit on Pete, like say, 10 unaffected, and with a current boost of 80% at level 4 legendary, it would grant a 10 * 80% DPS increase, for a total of 800%.

But no, EACH instance is multiplicative. Per character affected.
In other words: 80% bonus raised by 10. In calculation: 1,8 ^ 10. For a total multiplier of about 357x dps. Or in other words, a 35604% dps boost!

Now, take the current formation I'm in. I have 11 units not affected. That means I have a 64168% DPS increase. And if I have a formation where Bad Joke can't reach the main DPSer (this is actually better for me, as Bad Joke is weaker than the chicken's bonus, since I only have the uncommon Boxing Globe), then I simply don't learn Bad Joke, for a total increase of 115583% DPS boost.

To the entire party.

Without the need to think where to place anyone.

Without the need to specialize with specific tags and such.

And this is just the level 4 legendary. With a higher level, it gets EXPONENTIALLY better.

Only downside is that it can't be copied by Mindy's Mimic (but its scalability from levelling up its legendary level more than makes up for that)

Pete's chicken legendary is INSANE!

not having found epic gear (or recipies for smith) i fully legendaried littlefoot. Which gives an, well Legendary, bonus both in storm and littlefoots own ability.
Especially for hard and long tasks, combined with warp buffs this gives a great boost .....
