TBH posting here does nothing this thread should be locked posts ago the dev here and on big fish are aware and working on a solution, yes waiting is a pain but asking everyday isnt gona fix it sooner.

Matthew, It is very unusual to see a game go down for this long. People are just looking for customer support. I'm sorry that you are bothered by the posts in this thread, but this forum is open to all BW2 players, as long as the forum guidelines are respected. We do however, all have the option of not opening the threads that contain posts that we don't care to read.

I dont know if this is relevant but my game went down just as the gen 6 pets were announced.... maybe something in the code got confused.... I reported it to bigfish and they were kind enough to give me a voucher for a free game for my inconvenience. I am sorry this is happening to all of you but comforted to know I am not alone

it actually went down, at least in facebook, about 9 hours after the release of the pets.
BUT like all releases in this game, your Flash might have had hiccups upon getting new graphics. When it first went down for you was it the same server error as later on?

This does not only affect BW2. Dreamfields has been down as well. There is no error message on Dreamfields so it took me a while to figure out that BW2 was down also. So probably related to flash or not able to get an outside connection to these remote sights to log us in.

I agree with other posters that we should be able migrate our accounts. Just because the game is down, doesn't mean they don't have access to our login data.

Im not bothered it was sufficently coverd by the dev in what post 3 or 4 shouldve been left at that.

I beg to differ, Matthew. As we enter our fifth day, we still have not heard from the devs, except for that short little blurb by Erika last week, saying they knew about the problem and working with BF ... and, we have heard nothing at all from Justin. I find this unacceptable that they can't at least touch base with us. It makes me feel that they don't care about their loyal players. We have only heard from the BF forum moderators who admit that they don't know anything, and keep repeating the same thing. They keep telling us to be patient. Well, our patience is beginning to wear thin. It would be nice to hear a few words from the devs. Maybe Justin doesn't have the answers either, but he could at least keep the lines of communication open, and help us to understand what the problem is, and whether this may affect our game progress and stats, if and when we do get our beloved game back. This could make a major difference in how the players are feeling at this point.

I agree with Flybaby... Ok I understand there`s been a problem - whatever it may be doesnt concern me unless I can help but just saying theres a problem we are aware and working on it doesnt give me any info I really need to know - main thing is how long?

Ok so they might not know how long it will take but it actually isnt a huge amount of people with infinate recources to fix it ASAP - a general idea would comfort a lot of people There is a major fault with migrating between platforms please check again in a few days / next week or whatever...

Way they left it is many people just have no idea so they checking every few mins then every hour etc till they pass out go sleep and next morning they try again...

Please just to give us an idea then work around it and say every day after they go sleep just a posting to update... maybe?? I asking too much?

I know that you are trying hard to justify this, Matthew, and I do appreciate your input. However, Holiday, or not, they knew about this early on Friday, and knew it was a major problem. Anyone running a popular website normally will designate someone to be available, or on call at all times, as things can happen at any given time. And in this day and age, it is quite easy to check on things even outside of the office. With that being said, today is Tuesday, and the Holiday is over ... and still no word.

Flybaby, I know that you are trying to justify this, but I have never heard of big fish before, and i would never expect a fly by night operation like that one sound to be up on maintaining good services and fixing things when they are down.

I'm surprised that you have not heard of Bigfish games. They are not a fly by night operation. Otherwise, Codename would not be involved with them. They are a very large and very popular game site, and have been around for many years. They are among the first to get the latest games, and are very reputable. I just don't know why it's taking so long for them to fix this problem.

Hi folks,

We're still waiting to hear an ETA from Big Fish about when these issues will be resolved. In the meantime, I've set it up so that players on Big Fish won't lose daily login streaks when the game comes back up, and we can figure out everything else after the game is available again.

Thanks for posting, Justin, and for saving our daily login streaks. That was one of many concerns that a lot of us had. Hoping the game will be up and running again before the next event, which I'm guessing will occur this weekend. Please continue to give us updates on the situation ... it will be very much appreciated by all.

Thanks for the post, Justin, that makes me feel much better. Maybe BF will gift everyone with a fair amount of Bush Bucks as compensation. I've been checking in as I can each day too!
