I see we have 2 Candy Cane swords but no Candy Apple sword..:D

I cannot accept any event gifts today Saturday July 20/19., AND to get PAST THE SERVER ERROR. I have to clear cache THEN X OUT...OR I just X out of gift box AND I CAN GET IN THE GAME FROM DOING SO...but my gift is still in limbo... Messages are... 1: claiming request 2: retry request 3: request failed to contact server... ..

Yesterday, I had the gopher (?not sure that's the right name, hoping you know which one I mean) - it wouldn't go down for anything. Today I have the princess and I have the same problem. No problems with the teacher. No problems with the other npc. So far, just problems with these two. What level problems? 50+ attempts before I gave up. Leaving and coming back gave a character that was dunkable. Really dunkable - needed one or two hits only.
