i was comparing guardians with some friends and we notice that some guardians have more points than others, so i was questioning ¿how is made points distribution?

we compared the same guardian 461 and 447 it was amazing the difference we saw of 14 points, so i want that a dev could bring a some light to this point of ¿how is made points distribution?, please we need all the details about this, because if there is something strange about this, maybe you need to correct something in the process your doing for this.

Once you have captured a Guardian it gets one more point per level than wild levels. So if you want to most points in the end you need to get the guardian at the lowest level possible.

P.D: your answer then leaves me another question.

if we want a stronger guardian, but can only catch ones of our char lv, how are we supposed to get better guardians? here comes my suggestion from before, about being able to decide at what lv we want our guardians below the lvs our char already gained.

Letting you retrain a guardian is something we may do in the future.

As far as I know I did answer your first question. If you don't think I did maybe you need to ask more clearly?

ok, you want something more clear:

- how much points do the guardians gain in a lv up.
- how are those distribute.
- is there a difference in were a point is placed.
- what others things can affect the points a guardian get.
- whatever i dont know and you know said it please.

Guardians stats are increased randomly. While I do not know the exact formula, it's based on each Guardians individual profile. I want to give an example:

Vinibark:
Health: (I don't know here as it also increases more with higher levels)
Attack: +0: 40%, +1: 40%, +2: 20%
Defense: +0: 45%, +1: 40%, +2: 15%
Special Attack: +0: 20%, +1: 30%, +2: 30%, +3: 20%
Special Defense: +0: 50%, +1: 40%, +2: 10%
Speed: +0: 35%, +1: 35%, +2: 30%

You can get an idea of those values, when you look at the database. I do not know however, how the calculation works. What I do know is, that the stats between to similar Guardians can differ a lot. I also don't know, why some Guardians stats are totally different from the charts in the database. For example Fizard, Squiddy and Orkkid all show relatively high Special Attack and relatively low Special Defense... I have all three of them at level 15, but they all have rather low Special Attack values and relatively high Special Defense. Maybe it's just the database showing old values, I don't know.

Before the database reset, my Vinibark had 59 Special Attack on level 21. After the reset it was 50 on level 21 only (David set it back to 59, thanks again!). To summarize this: It's based on luck, how your Guardian's stats evolve. If you want to have good stats on your Guardians, you likely have to level them again (therefore a retrain option is very much appreciated... however: some option to see how much the stats differ from the mathematical average would be nice then, so you don't retrain a Guardian, that already has good stats).

Hi Carlos

//- how much points do the guardians gain in a lv up.
Depends on the level up type the Guardian is set to most get 10 once captured, and 9 when wild. There are 7 level up types Balanced, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, Speed, and Health. Each type wieghts the distribution of points towards a particular stat. For example Feng is a level up type of Attack, and Mooky is a level up type of Defense.

//- how are those distribute.
Weighted random distribution from the weights in the level up type.

//- is there a difference in were a point is placed.
Answered above?

//- what others things can affect the points a guardian get.
Nothing.

//- whatever i dont know and you know said it please.
You get better responses from people if you are more respectful.

now thats the thing, with these answers you gave me, i get to understand that the guardians when they lv if theyre captured types would have 10 points to spend between their stats, my question is how, 2 starter guardians can come to have a difference of 14 points? is the same guardian were talking here, one have 461 and the other 447, its an amazing difference of 14 points.

so thats my doubt, how is possible for same guardians have 14 points of difference?

Interpreting what David said, how the stats are distributed is random, with each type having a different likelihood of being added to. This would mean all guardians get the same random chance as each other, except that they are all assigned different likelihood influence. i.e. Feng's likelihood of getting a stat point in Attack is greater than Firball's likelihood of getting a stat point in Attack.

But just because two guardians are the same type and level doesn't mean that they will get the same stats, one Feng may very well defy the laws of chance and end up getting more points added to Special Attack than to Attack.

What's the purpose of the "Guardian Stats" charts in the Database application then? There are much more than 7 different stats charts... and why are the stats higher for all evolved Guardians?

Carlos:
a) I think David meant 10 points average (as I'm 100% sure, that you don't get 10 Points each levelup)
b) Even if it was 10 points on each level, you still have to take into account, that at least Health is calculated differently (because you get more than 10 Health on higher levels)

Health works differently. When a point is assigned to heath, it turns into 3 health. Also in addition to points put into health, health has an additional inflation rate of about 5% per level so that higher level guardians have significantly more health than lower level ones.

So as for the guardians Carlos is comparing points assigned to health is probably the difference. The Guardian that has more points probably has more health.
