We've added a major new feature to the game: Missions.

-Added a major new feature to the game: Missions.

• Missions unlock after you have done at least one reset.


• Missions are a way to make use of the Crusaders you're not currently using in your formation. Send them off to earn Enchantment Points, Gold, Buffs, Rubies, Chests, Idols, and unlock Holiday Crusaders and Gear you may have missed out on.


• Each mission requires certain Crusader tags. Each Crusader has a variety of tags associated with them. Mix and match for guaranteed success!


• Some missions are even harder - their success depends on your Crusader's gear and Enchantment Point total. Fail certain missions, and your Crusader may be injured, knocking them completely out of commision for a period of time.


• While a Crusader is off on a mission, they cannot be levelled up or used in your formation. Plan carefully so you don't miss out on idols or slow your normal play.


• If a Crusader has a reset ability, it can still be bought even if they're off on a mission.


• You can only send 50% of your owned Crusaders on missions at once.

- Added "Missions Madness" weekend buff. Buffed Crusaders include Jim the Lumberjack, the Washed Up Hermit, Detective Kaine, King Reginald, and RoboTurkey. Event formation + Weekend Promo? Rush for area 600 now!

- Added a new chest type containing gear for just the five Crusaders above, plus a special Golden Epic for the Washed Up Hermit with purchase of any special chest package. Note: You will only receive gear for RoboTurkey if you unlocked him during last year's event (or you unlock him via Missions).

- Event notifications can now be shrunk so they take up less space.

Edit:

- Formation saves being messed up will be dealt with once we are back in the office on Monday, hopefully within good time.

- My understanding of the gear missions was a bit cloudy. The gear will update in order (Empty -> Common-> Uncommon-> Rare ->Epic), but you don't need the common-common-common, or rare-rare-rare, etc. for that to happen.

The gear missions will randomly upgrade one slot each completion, so you could have common-common-rare and get upgraded to common-common-epic.

Its limited by how many crusaders you use/have left.

@devs, i was wonder if its possible to have at least 1 mission at all times allow us to unlock a crusader we are missing, instead of randoms (if that's whats going on, haven't seen any missions for crusaders, unless the quests for them aren't enabled yet)

missions are messing up saved formations. even when the crusader you normally use becomes free again, they wont pop back in line via saved formation button.......and sometimes you dont even send a regular crusader on a mission and they still wont show up when using the buttons. am i alone o.o

But the strange thing is that this reset cost increases continuously. Why???

Are mission witch improve items improve rare items to epic, epic to golden epic?

Thank you for free Jeweled Chest. Missions are interesting and I like them.

1> There's a mission I'm going to do that will unlock Robo Turkey. Will I get the achievement for that?

2> Is there a way to cancel a mission, even if that means a penalty/debuff for the crusaders involved? Some of them take a few days and a LOT of crusaders. In the future, I might be on a mission right when an event starts, and would like to drop out of it to do the event.

Wonderful update, thanks so much! A nice way to get gear and crusaders I missed so far!

And also a very nice update for the notifications!

One question, though: Will there be a possibility in the future to abort a mission? I have to be honest, getting 2h or 8h of gold is awesome and I will use it probably in the future, but I'ld rather have the best crusaders now to send them on another mission. Oh, and I just saw, Erich was asking the same question. Thank you Erich!
