I have finally lost patience with BW2. Cannot get Google to stop freezing and Firefox won't load at all.

It might be that you need to clear your history and cache and cookies etc

In the top right hand corner is the 3 lines. Click on it, and select History from the drop down menu. On the next drop down, select "clear recent history"

The first 5 boxes on the new window are what you need ticked (although not necessarily).

Clear history. It might take a while - over 5 minutes - if you have an excessive amount of history.

Sounds likes you may need to clear flash player. That's always fun. It's in control panel, if you can find your control panel.

I'm sorry for being rude, but I really don't want to type out the multiple operating system work arounds.

Google it though.

I cleared my flash and computer cache; that didn't work. Neither did trying different browsers (Microsoft Edge, and Firefox). Downloaded an older version of Flash, and it still won't load. Looks like my BW2 playing days are almost over.

Lisa don't give up, I considered that, but trying the recommendations offered I have got both Google and Mozilla performing better. Check out the forum for problem solving posts and try them as I now am playing well

Destiny: Not sure I have sorted flash out as yet, but went into control panel and sorted out a lot of anomalies.

here is that fix for all to see:
the 'global flash settings page' in 1 is a link
http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html

If you've been having issues with slow loading or lag recently, we have identified an issue in a recent Flash Player update which is causing most of these problems. Until Adobe fixes these issues, click here for a detailed workaround.
Hide this message
1. Load the Global Flash Settings Page.
2. Click on the 'Limit' header to sort by Limit until 'Unlimited' sites are sorted at the top.
3. Find the entry for bw2.djartsgames.ca and click it.
4. Click the 'Delete Website' button.
5. Refresh Bush Whacker 2. When it asks to use your Hard Drive, click 'No Thanks'.
6. When the Flash Confirmation window pops up, click 'Allow'.
7. Bush Whacker 2 should load normally and will no longer pause for long periods of time when loading new graphics.

do not go to the should be identical place with a right click and global setting, that's different somehow.

here's what the 'limits' header looks like and should not be necessary as the urls are alphabetized and one can easily get to the bw2 one quickly anyway

Followed the fix, and is now working. Takes a while to load, but at least it's loading.

WTG Developers!! The fix is working, great. I've been wanting to chuck my laptop across the room for days, now. After following your instructions I can play in Chrome again and firefox is working much smoother, too!! Thank you so much for finding a work around :-)
