Raymondyou have all 120 different flux trinkets from the 15 different fluxes already?
p.s. new zone should be any week now IF it's gonna be 3 months between zones. BUT according to my own accounting I THINK we should have that second Kaine, the underwater one, before the next actual zone, but I am basing my assumptions on prior history. |

Raymondthen 'a lot' of people should just sit and wait and let the other people complete that, and sit and wait and let other people who have never ever even reached the flux have a chance to actually reach the flux.
This game IS NOT simply for you alone. |

Raymondmany people, I'd say a lot of people, take a 1 to 2 month break from this game every other month. Just look at and monitor the rankings.

Joe GosselinLast Edited January 24th 2015 at 4:46 PM if you have too many flux trinkets, just sell them to get flux dust. You can get new items from the Flux store like an upgradable multifunction trinket. I played from day 2 since the launch of the game, still have 2 complete set of trinkets (16) to get them all.
edit : still looking to find my first diamond... |

jpl77The Flux is/was designed for players who reach the end of the game. So forcing players who make The Flux (and finish it) to wait longer while those who could never reach (ie these players who take "breaks" or brand new players) The Flux try to catch up is just a silly idea.
The people who, imo, "complain" about not finishing The Flux do not change their game play to reach that goal. The people who don't reach and finish The Flux are the same people who pride themselves on going slow and 'enjoying' the game without rushing at the same time as openly criticizing other players who complete new content in a couple of weeks. Instead they farm a different strategy (trying to grow every crop anticipating unknown farming daily quests or plant 48hr crops), they attempt to finish every side quest and SBA along the way to The Flux, they refuse to add friends and they don't have 250 buddies, they don't play Amicus Island daily quests, they equip the wrong trinkets, they focus on getting 2 or 3 varieties of the same pet, they don't log in daily, they take extended breaks from the game, they don't play other CNE games for djArts tokens, etc etc... To reach The Flux you have to play in a manner that will enable that success. You have to play daily, grow efficient energy crops, get 250 buddies for friend whacks, use trinkets/runes/pets that reward you mana and less nothings. You have to forget about doing the side quests. You have to go to Amicus to get Island tokens for energy baskets, you have to forget about getting the Casino pets and buy the energy instead. You have to get djArts tokens (if you play on facebook). As a player, you decide how you want to enjoy the game and how much time and resources you put into it. But if you want The Flux and it's rewards then play to earn it. If you want some games to play where you can take months of time accomplishing something that won't be updated go to http://www.kongregate.com/idle-games and if you want some games where you can take 2 or 3 months breaks look for ones that have offline modes. |

RaymondIt's nice to know where you are coming from.
That you have absolute contempt for the great Developers of this game and think that they can create new content in this game in a moments notice and they don't care at all that people will complete weeks/months worth of that in a few days. That you think that only people who are Level 260 and in the Flux, and have done every Flux, and can complete a bunch of new content in a weekend are the ONLY people in this game who count and are the only players of this who are playing this game RIGHT and according to the ways that you think that all players are supposed to play. All I can say is grow up. You all are children, Gimme gimme give me, I want it, I want it... I TOTALLY agree with Matthew and might collect together the last 5 or 6 long waits worth of the posts by this op where she asks exactly the same thing every time. Apparently never ever even reading our answerss, or understanding our answers. |

jpl77Once again Ray, I don't know why I engage you and your stupid remarks and assumptions, but here I go again. But I suppose since you always put words in other people's mouth and speak not only on their behalf but you also make yourself a martyr and you speak as the one true voice of the community, which you clearly are not, I get sucked back into 'endless' and circular what I would like to call conversations, but you are always confrontational and argumentative.
I'm not defending Maryanne, but like you, she has every right to post her opinions in the forums and chat. The Devs publish new content on a relatively known schedule. If you want to make it to The Flux and get all the trinkets, don't complain you don't have enough time to get there, just play differently and change your strategy to fit the update publishing timeline. As I said The Flux isn't for casual or new players, it is an area (and reward) for the hardcore/dedicated/power/paying player, and it certainly isn't a collection area for the level cap players to wait for n00bs. You mentioned player statics and the measurable drop in monthly users of BW2 and I would point out most of the users who stop playing (or who take a "break") are the max level cap players who are bored of The Flux. CNE should increase the update schedule to keep these users playing, if they were concerned about monthly user stats. This is all in contradiction to your proclamation that everyone should slow down so the back markers can catch up. Further more, forcing players to wait in The Flux makes the gap even worse as the bored players who are stuck in The Flux stockpile energy, further accelerating their progression upon new content release. I have to say that if updates where published sooner their would be more interest (equating to more monthly users) in this game and you would notice less of disparage between players, CNE might even make more profits. But I'm not here complaining of the update schedule, I know CNE is a small game house with a small amount of employees and that BW2 isn't their main focus. Too sum up, every gamer wants new content to their favorite games, take a look in the EB2 forum, someone was asking for level updates very recently, and that game is basically unsupported, but that won't stop people from asking for more. |

Jo Helmersone reason i asked to be able to block people many moons ago. makes it easy to get on with your own game and not put up with certain people.

Marci WilsonWhat I don't get is why complain? It doesn't change the speed with which the developers release new areas... that kind of thing takes time. I know this has been mentioned pretty much every time this subject comes up. Anyone that thinks that our awesome devs take too long to inject new areas and new content, have not played many other game app similar to this. I cannot tell you how many games I have played in the past where the devs have taken longer to introduce new content, not to mention those games were fairly unsupported and had very few interactions with the playing community-when masses of players literally begged for new content, they would release some form of bugged up crap as some form of appeasement..
Like I have said before, trust me, you really WANT the devs to take the time they need to get the content squared before they release it.. Those of us in the Flux, NOW have a good reason to be there, especially those of us who did not achieve max/end game right from the get go. Not only does the Flux dust allow for us to go back to old areas to earn the old trinkets for trade in, but once any one flux is complete, you earn dust as a prize to turn in, not only for the super trinket, but for CI as well as a special pet. To earn EACH of these items, plus the super trinket, you have to do at least 100 turn ins (not including the collection of eight trinkets from each flux zone)....this is going to require.. you guessed it-repetition... |

FinieousFYI: Both Tier 3 and Tier 4 of the super trinket each require 60 flux puzzles. I know Tier 2 was cheaper, but can't remember how much. I expect the Tiers up to 8 will increase in cost, but even if they don't... repetition :)

Maryanne Pulliam CunninghamI see there is still hateful mean people in this world. Probably still on momma's titty. Just asked about the new quests. Didn't figure i would get so many idiot's that send negative comments . never judge people on FB. you have NO IDEA how their lives are . Terminally ill people play these games to forget about the medical treatments and pain they are going through . But i see negative assholes still roam the earth.

Marci WilsonOther than the spat between Jason and Raymond, I don't see where anyone is being negative.... oh, wait... I see it now....
The name calling and crude language isn't really necessary... |
