Ho-ho-hello, Bush Whackers!

It's Christmas time in Bush Whacker 2, and the elves need your help to make everything go smoothly! This event will run until December 30th at noon PST!

You'll want to get started by heading to the event area in the Commons. There you'll help an elf fix his teleporter.. Once you've fixed it up, you'll be able to journey far to the North Pole where you'll find a whole host of NPCs in need!

Your primary task will be helping the elves make presents by bringing them Candy Canes (that you find in bushes), but there is a veritable smorgasbord of holiday related quests to complete as well. All of these quests will unlock over the course of the event, with the last ones unlocking on Christmas Day. You'll have up until December 30th at noon PST to get them all done though, so there's no rush.

You might want to fix this mistake in the blog post:

"We also have *3* achievements from previous year's events, which may be earnable by spending some Bush Bucks, if a player was not present during the initial years:

*1)* Santa Santa - You're practically Santa! (deliver a present while dressed as Santa)
*2)* Materialist - You bought all the 2012 Christmas things!
*3)* Reverse Grinch - You've delivered a present dressed as a Grinch!
*4)* All The Toys - You bought all the 2013 Christmas things!"

I haven't found anything in any of the houses that appears to be 'stealable' :(

The shoes in the slippery house. You have to go to the room on the left, though. I think it's the first path that will get you there.

Found them... I totally skipped looking for them during the first visit to that house.. I don't know why I was thinking I needed to steal something from Nate's house...

Is there a way to know how many gifts we've made with each elf? I think I've made 50 with 3 of them (I'm currently working on the 4th elf) but I only know for certain that I've done 50 with the 1st one (due to having gotten that achievement). I have full stacks in front of 3 of the elves which is why I think I've completed them.

Each elf will tell you when you've turned in enough to complete the mission...

a full stack, symmetrical stack is 55 presents cause it's 1 on top of 2x2 on top of 3x3 on top of 4x4 on top of 5x5 piles.
the achievements, if you completed all 3 earlier elfs and didn't touch the 4'th will say 150/200 somewhere

55x3 doesn't equal 150, the stack has nothing to do with the achievement.

and 55 has nothing to do with anything other then symmetry as I said.
the only way to know that a stack is 50 is to over stack and KNOW you have at least 55 in it. period.
the achievement lists the amount turned in, up to the needed 50 in each elf's station.

sure one could be stupid and do a few in elf one, then go away several days and do some in elf 4, then some in the 2 then some in elf 4. and not complete one single elf at a time, and never know how many he has in any elf at all.
or one could stick with elf 1, and finish elf 1 untill the achievement says 50/200 or over finish elf 1 till the stack actually looks FULL and symmetric, like I said...

I'm having a similar problem. The only house I've seen for at least the past 3 days is the house with all the raccoons. I still need to get into the slippery house to steal the item.

I can't get the slippery house either. Maybe we're not dressed right?
