I decided to log in before work, although wake up time is still 2 hours away. Low and behold, within 10 whacks, I got another leprechaun. As opposed to only being able to catch one when I log in once per day to play

3620 Posts	Link to post - Posted March 13th 2018 at 2:11 PM Erika/Alyniana @ DestKitteh: The Hatted Leprechauns only get easier to find after Noon Pacific. otherwise you need to drop a lot of energy to whack them up early. @ LadyWizard: You need to grab the quest to find Cara the Leprechaun while you're off whacking bushes, and then once you do, you follow her through the rainbow door to the Rainbow's End Island.

Otherwise, it will drop from bushes wherever you are whacking them. It just takes a lot of energy to find.
