Are you ready to start growing? Plant splicing is now available in-game! Make your favourite crops produce more or grow faster by creating a Plant Splicing Station for your ranch!

As of the update today, players who have bought all of their ranch expansion regions can start a new quest by talking to Farmer MacDonald, who has decided he wants to help you explore the world of plant splicing. The reward? Your very own Plant Splicing Station!

you can purchase catalogue pages of trees from one of the merchant in Amicus Isle. The good thing with theses trees, no friend can wack them so they are permanent.

Terri, you don't have to chop down your trees, just leave the trees in place after you buy the land. I left most of my trees and just cleared a path to the fishing hole.

I think players should be given an oppurtunity in the store to buy gold using gems. it will be a very long time before I will be able to buy the 17th square of land on my farm. Exchanging gems for some gold would be very helpful at this moment.

you can also do most daily quests at max level, the XP prize won't appear at max level and replaced by great Gold prize. Also trading each pet egg found and release it before hatching can get you a quick 3500 or so Gold.

The gold will really build up with some careful trinket and pet combos too. I always equip the trinket that looks like a golden apple as well as the banana.. the apple rewards the same amount of gold as energy earned from fruit drops and the banana gives you the best fruit possible when you use a multiplier-this will equal even more gold when you multiply fruit wins. Make sure to always have your best gold rune equipped on your sword as well as a maxed out fruit or gold companion.

Bought my second-last land expansion today. If the Flux is endgame content, then this must be something like end-endgame content ^^

I don't know if it is end game content so much as it is the next level in planting/farming... it will be interesting to see what transpires.

gonna experiment with all kinds of plants eventually even though I only usually do about 5 kinds, mostly fruit ones but 2 kinds of gold ones.
it's not end play cause people way way far from the flux or max level can have the 10 million gold to have gotten all 17(21) of the plots. I know I did well before the current flux, but perhaps well after my first flux.

Not end-game content so much as a reward for buying the last land expansion, since it never unlocked another farming plot or anything special. ^.^

And Brett, everyone has given you some really good gold collection ideas using in-game things. Though if you really wanted, you could buy gold from the bush bucks section of the store.

I'm glad so many people have gotten the plant splicing station and aren't having problems. I'm still 1.1 mill away from it myself. ^.^

Silly me, I planted a 24 hour crop before the farmer's 1 hour waiting period ended... I get to wait until tomorrow to see what happens next.

Another way to earn gold is to sell items from your inventory at your ranch. There are some that you can't sell, such as those that came from Events, but a few others can bring you a nice price. I have 2 gold nugget bars in my inventory from bush whacking and those are worth 25k each.

I'm disappointed I can't level up super blueberries.

Or are they linked to regular blueberries?

Hi William,

since Super Blueberries are a special drop from quest satchels, and are already good on their own, you can't level them up. And no, they are not linked to normal Blueberries.

You can only level up the basic crops available from the store, but if you do level them, they will be better. ^.^

Do we have to purchase all land clearing zones? I just bought the last zone which was also the last plot to buy for crops. Someone once posted that buying the last zone doesn't give you a new plot to plant crops. Do I still have to buy that one to get to the Plant Splicing? That's 5 million and I'm only at 200 thousand!!

planting is totally only related to the 17'th land clearing, which would be the 21'st plot of land (if one existed), so yes. You must spend 5 million on that last one to do splicing. that's what this is all about. http://codenameentertainment.com/?page=bw2&post_id=156
