I had not heard them referred to that way before. It seems that the areas in the upper portion of the Salt Desert is referred to as the "Settled Salt Desert". The Chromatic Pools, The Salty Settlement, The Train Graveyard The lower half is referred to as "Desolate Salt Desert". The Dead Pools, The Old Caravan Route, The Salt Palace Grounds. I always do the quests in the Flux, unless the quest specifically says otherwise.

170 Posts	Link to post - Posted January 23rd 2020 at 4:26 AM Elsastar96 Whilst fishing for gold rings at the cenote site today, I discovered that you can also fish up the quivering orb shards that are needed to complete the quest "the quivering orb" in the dead pools.
