I'm not thrilled with this but am trying to make the best of it. I would prefer a platform that was as we had it before. I would be willing to pay for it but not everyone can or would want to have to do that so here we are. The devs must have a reason to make it this way. I liked being able to interact when I felt like it. Now to keep up will have to deal with doing requests. I don't mind helping others but I feel odd asking friends to send me things. I played a lot of Facebook games for years and it finally burned me out. This was my sanctuary too. |

jbreckenI moved my BW2 over from BigFish, but I don't know if I'm going to be staying. I don't have any friends that play Bush Whacker, and this new platform seems to be built all around social stuff. It was also really weird that I had to register separately for the game site and for the forum.

Raymondthe game, all the games these Devs created ever, were initially created on and only on facebook platform. one is lucky they added other platforms for some reason. all platforms are not under control of these developers and even facebook might go away if congress goes crazy (i mean crazier then they are already)

Jade DrcI'm a little disappointed with the switch for two reasons:
1. Just like others have mentioned, I'm not a fan of the friends system. I prefer to play games solo, and I really don't like asking other people to play the games I like or for help in playing a game. 2. As a BFG member, I was able to get a discount on the things I bought for BW2 such as VIP time, Bush Bucks, etc. It wasn't a huge discount, but it was really helpful at times. All that said, I love the game itself and it would be hard to just stop playing after investing about five years in it, so I'm in for now. We'll see how it goes. |

MummoI agree with the comments, am annoyed at losing the small energy packs and not really interested in the friends system as I don't have any who play. Will continue to play, unless having no friends makes the game impossible. My daily VIP energy pack is missing too.

AnubischickI'll add my 2c to the pot, not a fan of the friend system, I like solo games (it's a reason I don't and never have played FB games). Luckily I know a few people from BFG chat that I can add as friends, but BW2 was never a game I was going to spend hours on a day, it was pop in, whack bushes, plant crops and go. Now if it's a requirement to visit and harvest or finish quests for other players this game is just going to be like all the others.
I will give it a go, simply because I have no choice other than quitting, but I don't have the ability to spend hours a day on a game and if that becomes the only way to play I won't stay around. Hopefully it won't. Also, Nick, that link doesn't point to a FAQ it points to a login page and since I'm not sure that setting up an account under my BFG name won't cause issues when I try to migrate I can't read it, can you post the content here instead? Cheers AC |

ArmyMomOkcHere is a pic of the FAQ Nick's link is supposed to show. I wasn't able to see it until after I registered my game on their platform.

ArmyMomOkcLosing the discount is going to sting. :( I did get my vip pack this morning. I had also stocked up on BB during the last sale so I won't need to spend $$ for quite awhile.
When I logged in this morning the 1st screen showed a page of requests. I had 9 of the blue small packs this morning. I know quite a few people from chat so I had friends to add to be able to do things that require friends. (like ask for the energy packs) For now there is only 1 AI room, not thrilled with that at all. I don't know how crowded it has to get before there will be more rooms. I rarely played in the main room. I wish the friends bar could be collapsed, takes up a lot of room on the bottom. Which brings up the process to add friends... it is a bit confusing. You have to add them to your CNE account then add them in the game. I had to sit with chat open and grab players links they posted in chat so I could add them, and post mine. So I have people in the mix I don't know in my friends. I will keep them unless they do something to warrant being removed. |

AnubischickThanks for the information I really appreciate both the image and the update on how it works. The friend system seems quite clunky though. I'm really NOT a chat person, so if I'm going to need to interact that way in order to add people it's making it less likely this is going to be a system I enjoy.

AnubischickSorry I've just read the FAQ, for anyone that knows is there a way to reject a friends 'help'? It says people can harvest crops or clear things from your ranch, what if I like the way my ranch looks and don't want trees or the like cleared, can I turn down the help?
Also why doesn't this forum have an edit post button? |

Ex_BubbleheadI can't even find anything labeled "chat", so it looks like I'm done here.

Friends can't make any real changes to your farm. When they help with crops it gives your crop a boost of more of whatever the plant gives. I see some friends have their golf courses closed. I'm checking if there is an option to close your farm too. I have gotten some help for my crops and it gave more energy from those crops. Friends can also unwither crops, which is helpful for those who don't have the sprinkler yet. I'm still exploring options and will post about the option to close your farm. (Edit - I do not see an option to make your farm private. I think we have the same options as those on FB. If any of you know what in game privacy options there are please let us know. I see options in my CNE profile but they are for showing your game stats/rank/profile. Thank you!) |

tgcougarDo I copy/paste that link thing from my profile page into Facebook? Or do I direct message it to people in the game?
To use a Lethal Weapon quote: I'm getting too old for this $#!& - lol |

VikingHelgaLast Edited January 25th 2019 at 10:29 AM This was posted by my friend Cybersix, before she donated her account to me, the Viking... : Bad Move! I too come from BFG and this friends-system is absolutely ridiculous! I dont want people in my game. Also, I dont want to become a digital beggar and ask for help to play a game. Come on!!! This kind of "feature" is for kids. Do the developers even know the average age of a BFG customer? We´re mostly middle aged people just seeking for a little time-out in a pretend world where we don´t have to go around asking for things, begging for help and dealing with people. This is what we have to endure during the rest of the day!!!. Totally upset and horrified by the abismal plunge the game took for the worse. I miss BFG.

VikingHelgaLast Edited January 25th 2019 at 10:29 AM This was posted by my friend Cybersix, before she donated her account to me, the Viking... : Hi not Raymond, FB players and BFG players are very different. FB players tend to be more social and enjoy features like adding friends, asking for help, etc. BFG players, as you can see from the other comments, enjoy relaxing with a game by themselves. Maybe this issue could be solved by simply letting the gamer choose between Solo and Social gaming and giving the Solo payers their 5 small energy packs back instead of friend-packs, as it was in BFG.

CashewieI clicked on the "migrate my account" link, verified my email address and now...I have to start over in BW2?! It has me back in the tutorial area teaching me how to whack bushes. Have I seriously lost all of my progress from the entire time I've been playing on BFG????
