I did the first one and the lady moved from the door of the Town Hall in Sanctuary Village, but it still won't open. Isn't there a way to bypass this? The thought of infected stuff is so gross, I didn't want to even do this area...

The "Interrogation Nation" quest is part of the quest hub quests. After you've completed the first 3 quests for Mayor Leah, you need to wait 72 hours and then Officer Ollie will have more quests for you. "Interrogation Nation" is one of the first quests he offers, and you should be able to resume the Red Man chase after completing it, and not have to complete the rest of Sanctuary if you really don't wish to.

Changed to Meaty Valuables Bait and had 2 vials in the first 2 casts, and the total 8 vials in 15 casts. No luck fishing quest items with Master Valuables Bait either.

I was going to say I already answered that, but that was in the Big Fish thread. Yes, in the past it has usually been one custom item and one ranch item in most holes, but this time around it is just the 2 ranch items.

Maybe the last area was a bit anti-climactic. Also, there should be some indication that a new energy regen trinket update is available - it seems a bit too missable at the current state. Oh, and it'd also be really cool if we could teleport to the previous quest hubs through the Glitch.
